Hotel Catalonia Yucatán Beach

We have been to this resort multiple times and have had the best food, service, and enjoyable experience here. We travel several times a year with our entire family of 6 and this is our kids' favorite place. It is small enough to be quaint and personable, yet large enough to offer great options. The food is by far the best we have ever had at any all inclusive as a whole. The only place we have ever been to more than once!

Exceeded all my expectations! The food was fresh and delicious…the bar drinks 🍹 flowed. Great staff! Special shoutout to Georgina (Kids Club) Francisco (waiter @ Mercado) Carlos (everyone knows Carlos) and the upbeat, friendly bartenders @ Tequila Bar. So many more but I couldn’t remember all the names.
Pool temperature is perfect. The ocean 🌊 had so many friendly fish 🐠. The beaches were clean.
I could go on and on. Worth every penny paid to relax and do nothing but enjoy yourself.

We just had a wonderful week at this resort. It is clean and well maintained, the staff were all friendly and accommodating. The meals were good with plenty of variety. This resort is located inside Puerto Adventuras so there are lots of things to see and do, you can walk off resort safely or even rent a golf cart to take in the sights. You can use the sister resort next door that has more activities and restaurants. Great spot if you prefer a smaller, quiet vacation. Great snorkelling. The only downside was for us was that there are no coffee makers in the suites, you have to go for quite a walk to find coffee before 7.

Such a great resort! This was my second time at this resort, I first came in 2022 and now in 2024. Staff and crew have always been amazing. Manuel, the bartender at the pool bar was amazing. Super friendly, happy, and just seemed like an all around hard working person. The resort itself is more of a relaxing, family oriented safe resort compared to others where the main focus is the nightlife and the crowded bars. I'd recommend this resort and hope to visit again soon!

First time at a resort in Mexico and wow, did this resort set the bar! This resort is clean and cozy. We had a lovely stay and the staff made it a very warm and welcoming place. The staff works very hard to keep the resort enjoyable for everyone including kids. It was an affordable resort and perfect for first time goers. The food was decent, however, there weren’t many vegetarian options. Don’t hold back on the spa services, we did a couple’s massage and it turned out to be great! Manuela, the waiter from Catalonia Burger, was such a lovely person and she provided us with great service. We will definitely be coming back!

What a great vacation! I just got back from 10 days of fun and adventure ! I found the food to be plentiful, and the staff to be absolutely amazing! I had the distinct pleasure of being served by one of the finest people I’ve You could imagine, “Arturo Fernandez”!!! This man was absolutely amazing, always there to serve you was a pleasure to speak with. When I dined out, I always look forward to meeting him, he knows how to make you smile and have a great day.
I would return to this resort in a heartbeat. This was my second vacation at this resort, and it won’t be the last I’ll guarantee it!

It was our first time at this resort and in Mexico.This resort was great, clean and cozy. We had a lovely stay thanks to the staff who made it a very warm and welcoming place. At the lobby, Crystal was a great help when it came to answering questions and guiding us about excursions. In general, the staff works very hard to keep the resort enjoyable for everyone including kids. At "El Mercado", one of the buffet restaurants of the resort, Valeria, the hostess and her whole team made it their mission to serve us splendidly.

It was an affordable resort and perfect for first time goers to Mexico. The food was decent with a good amount of choices. We also enjoyed the spa services that are out of this world. Onelia and Genaro were our massage therapists and made us feel rested. We will definitely be coming back!

The resort has been great, staff has been very friendly. Food choices have been good. Karla that did aqua fit and the entire entertainment staff have been amazing! Resort is smaller and very easy to get around and find your way.

Lovely location rooms a little tired but very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.
The entertainment team where excellent. Especially Karla and Jose for the aqua aerobics. They made it fun as well as a good workout.
The only negative was the sunbed issues. Not enough of them and having to get up very early to actually get a sunbed.

Algeria Spa is 10/10! This was amazing!!! Genaro and Aurora took especially good care when I have not had any spa or massage treatments before. Francisco was very helpful in the spa treatments and took very good care of us! Very kind, very gentle, and very soothing experience.

The best hotel ever. The servers are all so nice and lovely, they’ll talk to you and even make you learn some Spanish. The room is beautiful, the whole place is actually, the food is delicious and they change the buffet menu every day. You even have restaurants (you need to reserve in the morning) if you are tired of eating at the buffet. The employees are the nicest and it’s a wonderful place.

I LOVED my stay. I will definitely be back here! People are friendly. The food is amazing and there is so much variety. Best shows I’ve ever been on vacation! So much to do around here! The beach was acceptable. Georgina at the kids playground was great with my son!!! A big 4.9!!!

Pedro at the beach bar was fantastic!!! The best service ever! Pedro went above and beyond making sure our family had a great time. Rodger at the front was super helpful and friendly. Pedro and Roger made our vacation

Had a great time at hotel Catalonia. Entertainment was especially great the guys keeps us busy at all times with a wide range of fantastic activities. Big shout out to Pepe, Kevin, Monse and Verna you’ve been brilliant.

Just stayed for a week there and everything was amazing! Carlos (bell boy) was amazing, made us feel very comfortable and at home, he was
very friendly and professional, he really went above and beyond to assist us.

We also had a massage at the spa and I highly recommend Erik, he was incredible.

Other notable mentions: Carlos and Valeria from reception, Angel the lifeguard, Samuel and Miguel (servers from the buffet) and many other staff were simply amazing, very accommodating and I thank you all for your hospitality. Would highly recommend!!

Valeria, the hostess at El Mercado, was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly to us. She always served us with a smile. As soon as we walked in she was there to help us with anything we needed. She was so sweet on top of everything else, I am definitely coming back and I definitely hope to see Valeria here because she was such an amazing part of our stay!

Our server Ernestina was absolutely great from the very start at Catalonia Riviera Maya's Alebrijes Mexican Restaurant. She got our drinks quickly once seated. Then came back to explain some menu items and for our orders. Our food was great for the 4 of us. We also had birthday in our group and they sang Happy Birthday. Other tables jumped in with the singing. Again, awesome service by Ernestina!

The entertainment staff is the absolute best! That is a main reason we keep coming back!! Our room is great and the options for food is amazing. I love meeting and interacting with the entertainment gals and guys! Love them!! Luis is a favorite from last year!!

This place is wonderful. Exceptional staff. Great food. Lots to do and see. The kids club was a godsend on the hot sunny days - a huge shoutout to Georgia for her loving care of our little guy. Make sure you get off resort and check out the local shops down the road, it’s a great change of scenery if you want to mix things up.

Amazing resort! Rooms could use updating (I believe they're in the process of that right now). The food was AMAZING! I can't wait to go back!
