O Tulum

This was such a beautiful spot on the ocean, there’s only 12 rooms and creates such a cozy atmosphere. The concierge, Danny was always so friendly and accommodating. He had awesome recommendations for local spots we wouldn’t have found without him. He genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay which made our trip so much more special. I totally recommend this spot, their food is great, the staff in the kitchen were always on point and the rooms were always spotless.

The staff were kind and considerate. The food and drinks were excellent and the multiple pools and splash pools on the balcony are too cool! We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning. I dig the off the beaten path dirt road access and the Cenote right down the road. The turtles have been laying their eggs and it was cool to see the markings and nests.

Loved staying at this hotel. It was quiet, serene, and off the beaten path as advertised. Would stay here again without a doubt. The food is amazing! And Danny the manager is awesome! We had a blast in tulum. Thank you Danny.

We loved O’Tulum for our honeymoon. It’s such a hidden gem off the beaten path. The experience was so relaxing the value was great with the private plunge pools, two pool decks, a beautiful beach, comfortable rooms, good food and service. Danny, the concierge, made our experience though! He had the best energy and was super helpful throughout our stay!

Loved Our stay here! Quiet, off the beaten path a bit, on the Ocean with a rooftop pool and our own private plunge pool.The food was great.. drinks kinda pricey but theres a mini fridge and you can stock your own stuff. Great place to look at the stars and a xenote down the road you can ride the free bikes to is amazing.All the staff were fantastic, and Our Concierge Danny was over the top! So friendly, and the one-on- one attention to each person is unparrallel to any place we have ever been. The hotel itself is 4🌟righton the ocean so it needs some updating, but the staff and Concierge make ut a 5🌟+.
Go to Cancun if you want to just "be" in Mexico.. come here to "experience" it! We made some great new friends and will definetly return!❤tulum

Absolutely beautiful place to relax. Hotel was not located on hotel zone which i like, its quiet and safe. Love the rooftop pool! And the mini pool for each room. VERY INSTAGRAMMABLE! 5 star for their GREAT FOOD!! Staff are nice and helpful!

What a wonderful resort! Yes, it is off the beaten path but it is sooo worth it! My fiance and I booked this trip as a romantic weekend getaway and it exceeded our expectations. Louis and Nadia at the front desk were so helpful and generous and all of the kitchen staff was amazing! Our breakfast every morning was delicious and the food we ordered for snacks and dinner was just as perfect. The resort is about 20 mins from the strip but the staff made getting a taxi so easy, it was no big deal at all. Our vacation was a fairytale dream and we can't wait to tell all of our friends and family to book O'Tulum when they come to visit!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days to celebrate our honeymoon. We had an amazing experience and felt like we were taken care of, met super attentive and caring staff, and had all of our needs met!
LOCATION: The hotel is located 20ish minutes from El Centro and 25+ for the beaches, ruins, etc. It is on a long dirt road that is VERY bumpy. During the time of our stay, you can tell there is a lot of construction going on. This did not impact our experience at all but it's good to know when it comes to planning.
THE HOTEL: It looked exactly like the pictures! We got really lucky that we came during amazing weather - so were able to appreciate the beauty of it more. It was clean and a perfect size boutique hotel to get where you need to be. All of the pools were clean and staff would switch out any padded seats/benches/etc. any time it rained ASAP. Public bathrooms were always stocked.
THE BEACH: This was definitely a perk. Please note that there are a lot of rocks in the water; however, staff have water shoes. I didn't step into the water but enjoyed the view.
THE ROOM: We had the honeymoon suite with a jacuzzi and view of the ocean. It was a little outdated and worn down but not a huge dealbreaker. Staff did a great job of cleaning out our rooms and we didn't have anything stolen. It's common sense to lock up any valuables in your suitcase with a lock (which we did) and we didn't find anything missing. I recommend getting someone to clean your pool daily if you intend on taking a tip. We had flies in our jacuzzi from the second night on but we never jumped back into it to care for it to be clean again. The jacuzzi could've been a bit cleaner or down the line renovated but it was nice to have in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. ALSO, YOU HAVE WORKING AC! On days when it was in 90s, our room felt like heaven. It works like a charm and you can put it on full blast.
THE STAFF: Loved every person we came across. Nadia and Xavi were great hosts - always answering our questions, offering any support, and even helping my husband plan his proposal. We had our pictures taken and had a set-up and we couldn't be any more impressed with the extra step that staff took to ensure we had an amazing experience! Mayo from the bar knows how to whip up an amazing drink. Everyone was always easy to reach and we were really comfortable.
THE FOOD: Yessss, the food is amazing! The all-inclusive breakfast was the BOMB. You get to choose delicious authentic Mexican food and it was cool they offered vegan options. I would say the food is priced just like American restaurants but presentation and taste was always on point. My husband and I ate here a handful of times and I would say to expect for a bit of a wait but you have the view of the beach to keep you occupied :)

The only bad experience I had of this trip was that there was this couple fighting pretty loudly throughout the day. You were able to hear them throughout the entire premise. I wasn't sure if staff was going to do anything about it but it was unpleasant to deal with. Otherwise, the rest of the visitors if we ran into them kept to themselves and were nice.

We did not stay at this place. However, we visited the restaurant often during our stay in the area. Thus, this review is about the restaurant inside the hotel.

We were treated very good by restaurant’s servers and bartender (Aaron).
Drinks were yummy. The food was delicious, especially the huevos motuleños y chilaquiles. We had breakfast and dinner often here. This place was within walking distance from our AirB&B place. We also saw turtles at night on the shoreline.
We highly recommend visiting O’Tulum restaurant. They have live music on Fridays. We saw an artist play Beatles songs

Terrific hotel. Stop wasting your time and book this now, you won’t be disappointed. The staff are wonderful (especially Pablo, Christina, and Daniel). The views are great and the food is very good too. Had a fun time meeting the other guests at the bar. The hotel is clean, tidy, and well-designed for a comfortable vacation. The wifi is excellent too, if you’re a working traveller like me.

Quiet spot on the Yucatan coast. Property features 12 units only. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious menu.. breakfast included! First time here...hopefully not my last!

We really enjoyed the stay at O Tulum. The hotel is in a very quiet area. Perfect to relax. The staff was amazingly helpful and attentive.

is an absolute star. He will tell you about all the hidden gems in Tulum, have the best solutions and ever ready to help with his most spectacular smile. Also a shout out to Nancy from the housekeeping who made sure the room was done exactly how we liked it. The beach at the resort is not ideal for swimming as it is rocky. But there is a beautiful beach at a 7 mins walk great for swimming. The resort also is a 5 minutes walk from Casa Cenote. The internet connection is certainly a little patchy but isn’t that the point of taking a vacation. Where you are compelled to switch off and enjoy what s in front of you! :)

My boyfriend and I stayed here just last week. The hotel is beautiful, the service was absolutely amazing, the food was so great, they made sure we were completely taken care of the whole time. A quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing and there’s tons of stuff to do around the hotel as well. We are definitely going back at some point we loved it!

Excellent place. The beach directly in front is not swimmable but they have a private place you can go to swim and it's only a few minutes away by bicycles they provide. Food is OK but portion sizes are very small a leave you feeling hungry. I had a pasta dish for lunch that was completely gone in only 4 bites. No exaggerating, 4 bites!

Loved it. Modern, quiet, boutique hotel with 12 rooms and great food, service, ambiance. I needed to make a major reservation change and was given the owner's cell phone number. Lower level rooms have their own private swimming pool! Staff was amazing, we would be in the middle of Old Tulum and called them with questions. Fantastic food. Really great.

Excellent staff , very private , clean , the attention is very personal , Nino and Marcial at the bar , Leon in the front desk , I don’t remember all the names but everybody was very attentive, I didn’t have any bad experiences related with the staff . Despite the storm and the power outage the kept serving food and drinks. Only 12 rooms , cenote at a walking distance, We felt We were the only guests in the hotel. The only recommendation is music at the pool . Highly recommended place !!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife in mid January. We absolutely loved this place. The views are magnificent. The staff goes above an beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The restaurant is delicious and top notch for the price. Example: They have a Filet Mignon on the menu which comes out to be about $21 US. (This is one of the more expensive items on the menu) If I got this same dish in the US it would be atleast $30. The point I'm getting at is the food is priced very well. The free breakfast every morning exceeded my expectations. Everything is gourmet and they will cater to all your food allergies (My wife is celiac). The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful. She had no problem assisting us with getting taxis, booking restaurant reservations, tours, etc. The location is the only thing you might feel as a draw back if you looking to be close to town. The location is very private and you really do feel like you have the place to yourself which we liked. Thank you for such a good stay O'Tulum. I can't say enough good things about this place.

It's hard not to fall in love with this place. Pools are kept clean, food great and staff are amazing. I like how accommodating Leon was. The bartenders Nino and Marcial were awesome! Fantastic stay! IG: love_to_exist

This place was BEAUTIFUL! Super attentive staff, free bike rental, great food, and a private cenote nearby! Loved the location, it was off the grid but still had many things to do in the area. The drinks at the bar were whatever, but other than that it was a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend.
