Hotel Progreso Beach

This place was in a great location right across from the museum and beach. There is a pool that we didn't use but looked clean. Our beds were a bit harder than I liked but our water was hot, the air conditioner worked and the staff were great. They gave us a good cash deal for an extra night, called us a cab, and gave us good tips. We had a scooter, and they had a looked garage we could keep it that had access inton the hotel. We had a ground floor room which we loved. Across the street was the OXXO for snacks and morning coffee. Short walk to water and over to the fun! Wifi worked great as well.

Very CLEAN, pleasant atmosphere, lined with many wonderful restaurants & bar grills. SEA Food served here is THE FRESHEST! Generous portions are served! Beach chairs & tables are usually available. Local artist provide soothing music, artisans showcase their work, locals are generally walking along the outer parameters selling refreshing treats (sliced fruit, fruit drinks)!

Lovely hotel in the best place! Super nice Staff, Nice swimming pool, aircon, bathroom with hot Water, good price. And very clean!
We went for 2 nights, but stayed four :)

If only there were little fridge in the room and Water for guests,it would be Perfect!

I have taken a relaxing and very nice moment in this place. The attention here is very good, nice internet speed, the common areas are clean, so are the rooms. It is a place you should visit. I will come back next month

The 'malecón' is great to visit at sunset or night. You can find local street food at a fair price. If you prefer to visit at morning, it is very calmed and you can enjoy your breakfast with a great view.

Great rooms and very clean. When I go back I'll stay here again )) It's right by the beach ⛱

It was a great experiencie in the malecon and the beach, the beach was great and excelent, it wasn't cold and eigther was hot. There's some ventors that sell micheladas, mango, watermelon, cucumbers, etc., The Sand was nice and there are some attractions and many restaurant options

Very nice Hotel stayed in the upper level has a very lovely view has its private terrace and you just go across the street theres a little park were you can have something to eat if you want and right in front the big beach of Puerto Progreso very nice view loved it.

Nice low key and relaxing beach town with many good restaurants. It's only 20 KM north of Merida and easily reached by the Auto Progress bus or by car

It was wonderful, the service in all the bars and restaurants were perfect,y favorite restaurant was la taberna de Moe, it had and environment like the Simpsons,like if you were in Eua but in a new city!

Progreso Beach provides a sense of Mexican culture that not many places can provide. There are many different styles of restaurants on the beach. The beach itself is beautiful and the sunset on the beach is amazing.

I went to participate in a triathlon and Everything was great the weather, the food and the accommodation. I totally recommend to rent a department over an hotel room cause it's more confortable and cheaper.

The beach is ok and it is close to Merida city. There is a lot of tour from the city to the beach. There are many places to eat in the day. People are very friendly.

Amazing place to be with your family and friends... Sea foot it's the best, hotel are okay but I recommend rental a house in front of the beach, most of the houses are really cheap for weekends

This was the best place I've visited and taken dinner!! It's a great family place. I'll come back when I go to Progreso beach

Progreso is a beach near of Mérida, the people its very polite, and the food its very very good, you can enjoy sea food and Yucatecan food, if you visit Yucatán, you should go to Progreso its a good experience

Love the beach is amazing, the water is nice and warm and you can walk to every restaurant in the area and drink enchiladas on the Sand by the beach.

It only takes 40 minutes to drive to Progreso from Merida. It is a popular spot to relax and enjoy the cooler ocean breezes.

Great view comfi beds. Need window screen s so I could sleep with window open 😺
