Casa de las Palomas by Paloma's Hotels

This felt like coming home. Absolutely loved it.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. The windows and doors look original to the property and are very rustic and gorgeous. Same for the beams, dresser and bed frames. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean. The breakfast options are a tad limited but delicious. If you order juice, it is made fresh on the spot (I saw the waiter making ours).

The area is very walkable. If you’re Catholic; Santa Ana Parish nearby has English masses. There’s a couple of restaurants and shops nearby. Tons more if you walk a few more blocks towards the downtown or Paseo Montejo directions. Plus, the famous La Negrita Bar is only feet away. The cocktails are huge but it is VERY affordable there.

We had an issue with not having water in our room the morning we were checking out and the young gentleman at the front desk promptly opened another room for us and we were able to shower. This was at 4:00 am since we had a very early flight.

Our stay was Excellent. we were there early December 2021, for a week..This is a small boutique hotel with private outdoor showers. The Staff was wonderful, location, was walking distance to the center of downtown. Near great restaurants. We loved our room, very clean and airy

Amazing architecture and design. Comfortable beds. Great location. Polite staff. Quiet area. Super clean.

The only con is that the water of the shower stays in the floor of the entire bathroom due to missing a slope on the floor and the shower missing a curtain/door. But this is not enough for me to drop a star.

Beautiful hotel. Great rooms and shower. The staff was wonderful, always helpful and nice. When I come back to Merida, I'll definitely consider this place again.

Loved our stay!

The hotel is quite chic. Very clean and on trend. The location is great 10-15 minutes from Paseo Montejo and the main Plaza. We used Uber a few times only because I was really tired, wearing heels at the end of the night.
The pool is very warm. Breakfast is delicious. I appreciate that they let us use the fridge to store a few things. The AC worked fantastic.
The only recommendation for the master suite: I would give is to fill the pool/bath less than half that way the guest can fill the rest with water at the desired temperature. The water was too cold for me to enjoy, even after turning off the ac in the bathroom over night.

The hotel does not over sell itself. It's small, very well taken care of, and the staff were incredible. I can't recommend this place enough. Merida is a walking town with smaller sidewalks and a unique curb scene. I truly miss this place.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Merida with only 8 rooms. We had a great time there. Very well located. Private parking available. Beautiful pool. I highly recommend it!

Great place for a cute get away. Close enough to the center. The people working were super friendly and helpful ESPECIALLY Vladimir!
He took in a dog during Hurricane Delta and we fell in love with the dog as well. We went out to buy dog food and a collar for the dog.
The owner of the place unfortunately does not want to have a dog there. We hope he gets to keep him.

Beautiful hotel! Rooms are comfortable and relaxing. I had great resting time. Quiet and relaxing. Bed and pillows are excellent comfort.

Lovely and peaceful boutique hotel. Location is very quiet and close to the main places (cathedral and so). Staff is super friendly and rooms are great.

Best price/quality hotel we had during our 3 and half weeks trip through Mexico, great architecture, big room, nice interior design, helpful staff and very quiet... perfect to relax after a busy day visiting.

Très joli hôtel pour séjourner à Mérida.
Le patio avec la piscine est bien aménagé et très agréable.
La chambre et la salle de bain sont bien décorées et spacieuses. Bonne literie.
Endroit calme et relaxant.
Bon emplacement dans Mérida, on peut rayonner autour à pieds.
Petit déjeuner un peu léger mais il était bon.

Petit bémol : la cour en gravier/cailloux à traverser avec les valises pas pratique du tout, manque un petit frigo dans la chambre !

La atención estuvo maravillosa, muy amables y con recomendaciones para salir a comer y a cenar que definitivamente valen mucho poder disfrutar... muy cerca del centro de la ciudad a unas 5 o 6 calles caminando... (excelente ubicación). Hay wifi en todo el hotel, las habitaciones son muy cómodas y con aire acondicionado delicioso (para cuando llegas acalorado)... se descansa muy a gusto.

Sus instalaciones son muy bonitas y acogedoras.
