El Nuevo Tucho Centro

Really fun place. Almost all locals. Very typical place for “botanas” (think tapas). Live music, cold beer and big drinks. Super friendly and efficient staff.

El Tucho Centro, I’ve been visiting this place since early in the 2000’s and I continue enjoying every single visit I do, it’s live shows, standup comedy, music, ambiance, the service, the food and the most important thing: COLD BEER, makes the Tucho Centro the right spot to chill and enjoy, obviously if you have the company of the family or friend(s) is even better

Excellent food, excellent staff.
The best cochinita pibil ever. Kool Indio de pavo is delicious. You can't miss one of the best places in downtown. On Saturdays they have a clown making jokes on the stage.

Nice traditional mexican restaurant in the center of Merida with live music and very friendly staff. They become friends with you in only a few minutes. Very good dishes and good prices. Don't think it, just visit it

I had a great time here. The beers were cold, the snacks were pretty good, the waiters kept it all coming quick. The entertainment was fantastic and <3 <3 <3 the guy playing the keyboard is quite handsome. My friends and I enjoyed the relaxing afternoon. I might have to go back soon.

What a find..... happened upon the restaurant by accident and before we knew it, we were sitting down to margaritas and chicken wrapped in banana leaves (recommended by our very attentive waiter) Restaurant filled up very quickly.... obviously word is out about the food, ambience and value.

This place is a must in Mérida.
Especially if you don't know anything about it.
Order a beer per person and enjoy what happens. If you like it, keep ordering beer for increasingly large portions.
If you don't speak Spanish, be sure to ask for Romero as your waiter. He's a fantastic host!
If you do speak Spanish, enjoy the live show!

Such a fun place! People are super friendly. Botanas were tasty. Seating easy to find. Drink prices were reasonable. Lots of families. Humor and shows might be considered a little riskie.

Food was good but if you want to experience a bit of the local humor this is the place to go.

Amazing show (very loud, but very entertaining). There was alot of people having family time. Food is cheap and in UUUGE portions. Also had a couple small dishes on the house. HIGHLY ADVISED

This place is a lot of fun with all of the comedians, they offer alcoholic beverages, drinks and food.

We visit Tuchos every time we go to Merida. So much food and the shows are hilarious. Everything is in Spanish but you'll still ne entertained.
