Easy access from Tulum, just a 15 min drive. Great place to spend the day with family. Plenty of things to do. If you bring a drone better go just before closing around 3.30pm when the sun is right and people start leaving so can do good shots, they charge only 150 pesos for use of drone which is worth it.

Beautiful place! The color of the water is amazing, especially on a sunny day! It was crowded by noon, so it’s best to get there early…especially if you want good photos without the crowds! It was a great way to enjoy the day with a picnic lunch and cold adult beverages.

Very extraordinary place 10 minutes outside of Tulum! Tickets are costing 300 pesos and if you want to fly a drone you need to pay extra 150. Im fine with that! 🙂

The place is great. Less tourists, good view. But I need to warm you that after u got tickets u need to shower at entrance then enter the park.they don’t have locker room to keep you stuff. you need to leave your stuff on bench. Good spots for pictures.

Very beautiful and must visit place in Tulum. It’s 15min drive from Tulum city. There is entry fee and carry cash as they won’t accept card. Either Mexican pesos or USD. There are many beautiful spots to take photo. Many swings are setup inside the water and which is very beautiful for the photos. Also kids will enjoy the water to play as the water is very clear and most will enjoy.

I absolutely loved this place. I went during the week on a Tuesday not on a weekend because it can get super busy. It cost 300 pesos to get in for tourist and the water was so warm and clear. So clean from the sargasso.
We took a picnic lunch. They do have a few tables to eat at. The downside is they close at 4 pm and you are not allowed to wear big spray or sunscreen, so plan ahead. The laguna sits right next to a cenote so they are trying to preserve the ecosystem. Understandable! I hope you love it as much as we did!

Laguna de Kaan Lum was suggested to our family from someone in Tulum, what a great suggestion it was! We had a great time swimming in it clear Cristal calm waters! We saw some Moms going into the water with their kids on their arms having so much fun! Remember not to put any sunscreen on your body because sunscreen it’s prohibited in the Laguna.

This lagoon was one of the best experience of our Mexico trip this December.

We decided to get there early by 9.30am and found the place almost to ourselves including the swings in the water. They have added a few hammocks as well now.

The place has a walkway that leads you to the lagoon with a watch tower and a dining area on the side. There is a massive sinkhole in this lagoon which has been cordoned off and is dangerous as well.

Don't forget to carry your food n drinks as they sell only tender coconuts and since wafers.

Entry is $300 pesos valid for a full day.

It’s a gorgeous place for a swim. 300 pesos to enter. No sunscreen is allowed so if you’re fair skinned you may want a long sleeve swim shirt. I got absolutely lit up while out there for four hours.

The vibe is pretty chill there with a mix of locals and tourists. The swings and hammocks attract the influencer types but there weren’t very many there

A great local spot, a real gem. We spent all day and had an absolute blast. No sun screen allowed to protect the environment so keep that in mind. And bring some snacks.

Beautiful Place, there are several spots where you can take beautiful pictures, there is a heart of wood, some swings and hammocks, the place is quiet and relaxing, I really enjoy my time there.

What a hidden gem in Tulum! You get sunny skies like at the beach without the sargasso and you also get a cenote that is found in the middle of the lagoon. You can find this place about 15 minutes south of Tulum but you better put it on the gps because you can miss the entrance. The entry fee is about $15 usd per person for non Mexican visitors. They have a limited amount of concessions but you can purchase so bring your own. DO NOT WEAR SUNSCREEN! It’s not allowed and it affects the water’s environment. BRING A HAT or umbrella.

It’s a nice Instagramable place if you get there early. They have swings and hammocks. The water is a beautiful greenish color with a darker blue center.

We took inflatable hammocks were we chilled most of the day. I think this is my new favorite place in Tulum.

They close early so get there early.

10 min drive from the center of Tulum. This is a must stop. Bring pesos. $200 a person I believe. Clear water. 3-4 feet deep

Low key and nice relaxing shallow lagoon swimming experience. The shallow shores for swimming are between knee to waist deep, the darker park in the middle is restricted from swimming to not disturb the ecosystem. No sunblock/sunscreen allowed to protect the environment. Several hammocks and swings in the water for taking photos. Can only buy some basic refreshments (plus coco and beer) and snacks on the spot so feel free to bring your own.

Price: 300 pesos per person (tourist/non-local).

Gorgeous swimming hole. Would highly recommend. We got there around 1 and wish we had more time. The water really is that blue. You can bring your own food and wear eco safe sunscreen. The signs will say otherwise but everyone disregards those rules. Two docks for lounging and some benches for sitting in the shade.

Wonderful place 😍
The entrance is 300 pesos, but it is worth it, we enjoyed staying there!
Was a bit busy on Sunday, though.

At 300 pesos per person this was well worth the money. We went at around 2pm and left at closing. It was so calm and peaceful!

Many photo opportunities but also things to do like swings, hammocks, jumping off the docks, drinking coconut water etc. All of this while surrounded by gorgeous scenery and little fish!!

Recommend putting on reef safe sunscreen before you go as they make you shower if they see you putting it on there!
