It is my first time staying at Inn Lay. The rooms are big, clean, tidy and pleasantly surprised. There is a bed of lotus flowers surrounding and the area is not noisy at all. All rooms have balcony and never bored with the views from there. I'd like to rate highly about the staff. They are professional and friendly. They provide a good service throughout my stay and I am really happy about it. Not to mention, the breakfast is great. Recommended for anyone who is looking forward staying in peaceful and calm environment. Also this place is near to the market and boats service area.
Thank you guys for the services provided. Cheers!

The location is just perfect, just on the edge of the town so it's a quiet location but it's so close to the shops and restaurants.

The setting is amazing - so tranquil with the rooms on stilts on the pond. Such a special experience.

We were very lucky that they upgraded us to a cottage as we were on our honeymoon and the rooms were divine. Plenty of space, well designed and very comfortable.

We arranged our boat trip on Inle Lake directly with one of the boatmen and he met us just outside the hotel on the morning of our boat tour, and we walked to the boat just 1 minute away. So easy.

The breakfast was truly one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had, anywhere.. Not just in south east Asia! Especially the amazing croissants.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We were blown away by this hotel!

... Now just some small comments as no place is perfect!

The breakfast is amazing but I felt bad as they serve a lot so much of the food is wasted... Unless they use the leftovers? It would be good to know what they do.

The food and beverage manager was very kind and offered us coffee and croissants when we arrived even though we hadn't checked in yet so food was not included that day. But then he was very pushy about booking a boat your with his friend and made us feel very guilty the next couple of days when we booked with someone else.

The hotel advertises itself as an "Eco" Lodge but I think this was a bit of a gimmick. There is a lot more they could do to be Eco friendly.

This place is just perfect. The location is magical and looks far from everything and everyone but instead you're just in the heart of the city. Places for eating and the market are just a walking distance. I arrived in the early morning, they opened up for me and they served me a basket of bakery with jam and hot coffee. They turned on the fire pit and charged my phone. They gave me the room asap as they were fully booked. The room was huge and amazing, perfect in every single detail. Very attentive to recycling and save energy. The whole complex is stunning,a peaceful oasis. Staff is always smiling and does everything to help. Breakfast is wide and tasty.

Very nice room, great breakfast (with truly good coffee) and super friendly people. Just one negative: due to it's location, there is some noise of the Inle lake boats that pass. But it is difficult not to hear this noise when you stay close to Inle. Overall, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Myanmar.

I’ve already added a review of the wonderful hotel. This is to add a comment about the spa, which i’ve just experienced.

Had a wonderful traditional massage, as as was aching from a full day before. The spa is both welcoming, clean and beautifully pleasant. I was greeted with an unsolicited cup of ginger tea, with lemon and honey by the charming hostess.

After being led into the treatment room, I was dressed in a traditional Shan outfit (which I put on the wrong way around, which delighted the hostess who let out a charming giggle and helped me out!)

An hour and a half later, and a short snooze during the massage, I felt rejuvenated and ready for the next part of my trip. Tips were unexpected, but well deserved. I think she was almost embarrassed to take it, which was very endearing and speaks of their warmth.

Thank you Viewpoint Spa, and thank you to the wonderful staff working there.

Beautiful eco hotel with a very cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff, spacious room and great food. I love to sit at the bar for a tea. It was a bit cold season so we felt so nice to sit in the fire place down the lobby bar!

Beautiful views, every detail in the room is nicely planned, super comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and has different surprises every day, the best though, is the swimming pool, which floats over a lake covered in lotus flowers. The people makes you feel welcome at every moment, the service is impecable

Fabulous stay! Perfect location(right next to the boat pier and straight away from the express bus stop in the same road. 6 mins from the bus stop by foot. As you step into the lobby, you would already feel nostalgic. Such a great place to have an afternoom tea(even though they do not have the afternoon tea set)!
The floating room are inspired by its cultural héritage ( Shane state royal family house style) with a good touch of modernity and have their own view from a tranquil balcony.

The old Myanmar postcard sold here Can be a good gift. The breakfast dazzeled me with a various sélection to choice!
The staffs are gentle and very attentive.
This hôtel is a true charm of Nyuang Shwe.

All the rooms are set on an artificial lake with excellent views of the mountains either side. Easy short walk into the town for all the restaurants and shops. It's next to the boat jetty where it is easy to get a boat to explore Inle Lake.

This place is perfect and far better than we expected. Staff is super friendly and very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and absolutely gorgeous. Of course you can hear some noises here and there - it you book in the middle of the town and along the jetty this what is to be expected from my pov

Very nice place with good people. Everything was great: the room, the small lake, the breakfast, the restaurant, the localization… you can access downtown by walking or rent bikes to explore the area and of course, book a boat driver to go to Inle Lake. Thanks to all the team for your warm welcome, we hope you will get soon more tourists. Nyaung Shwe and its surroundings are amazing…

After a full day of travelling, that started at 8 in the morning from Bagan we found ourselves in the town of Nyaung Shwe – The Gateway to Inle Lake at 5 in the evening. We were soon picked up and ferried to ViewPoint Eco Lodge, which was going to be our home for the next two days, during our Epic 7 Day Myanmar Road Trip.

The very fact that we were welcomed with a nice refreshing drink, a warm scented towel, to freshen up our faces, followed by a glass of chilled white wine, gave us a glimpse that, it’s going to be a delight to be  spending the first few nights of 2020, in the lap of luxury, and being pampered by the hospitable staff here.

As we were escorted to our room, we passed by the bar, the SPA, and soon reached a fork, which is when we realized that all the 21 rooms at ViewPoint Eco Lodge are Water Villas, built on stilts in a private lagoon, like you find in the Maldives,  tucked in between streets on all the 4 sides.

Only eco friendly and sustainable products have been used in the construction of the entire complex at ViewPoint Eco Lodge, and following sustainable practices on a day to day basis, is something which is the norm here. And guess what, there was a Swimming Pool, and that too a floating one at ViewPoint Eco Lodge.

ViewPoint Eco Lodge, is undoubtedly one of the best places, where you can experience Luxurious Travel in a Sustainable way. No wonder ViewPoint Eco Lodge has won the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2016 for Luxury Lodge and has also been awarded the ASEAN Green Hotel Standard.

You can reach the town of Nyaung Shwe from either Yangon or Bagan by taking an overnight VIP semi sleeper bus.

OR you can choose to Fly in !

The nearest Airport is Heho airport and is a 40 minute drive from ViewPoint Eco Lodge.

Without a doubt, a stay at the ViewPoint Eco Lodge in Nyaung Shwe in Myanmar is highly recommended, if you are looking for some really unique and memorable experiences.

Amazing place, very nice houses on the water with great views over the rice fields. Very good breakfast, very friendly staff. Located at the far end of Nyaung Shwe, easy to walk into town.

Amazingly good food, exquisite wines (even a proper champagne) and a friendly and very professional staff. Also, compared to European places of the same quality, very very affordable. Exceptional and highly recommendable!

The most calm days we had in inle lake, after the hotel in the lake with lots of boats noises from 5am, that place made us feel relaxed with big, decorated rooms and a gang of ducks inside the private lake.

Place is clean, room on the lotus pond, great view! We took a room that accommodate our family of 5, food and service is good. Worth the price!

Very nice place, with a great view from the terrace. Boats can be annoying sometimes for some people, but I don't think you will even pay attention to that. The food is great, the staff helpful, and the GM a great guy! :)

Lovely, calming environment. My terrace was a worthy investment for chilling out. Thank you so much also for going above & beyond when I left my purse with you!
