Dosa King Restaurant (south & North Indian Food)

Came here on a recommendation and loved it. Ordered heaps of different dishes and nothing let us down. We did six months travelling through India, and this was just as good. Will return!

Fantastic Indian food! We ordered a saag paneer (cottage cheese in spinach sauce), chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken and they were all really tasty and authentic. Also ordered poori, garlic butter naan, masala thosai and roti which were all really true to the Indian taste (coming from someone who just travelled Sri Lanka a month before). Prices are reasonable considering Inle lake is touristy (~3-4 USD for the meats and 1 USD for the carbs). The lady serving us was really friendly and the food she recommended was really great.

Had dinner at Dosa King, and ordered butter chicken with garlic naan. Boy, they are fantastic! And this is coming from someone who has lived in India and tried their best delicacies before. Definitely recommended.

Superb authentic South Indian Dosa. Great customer service. Friendly and a cosy place to be. Also caters Jain Vegetarian food, only selected items - Masala Dosa and Paneer Dosa included. I will definitely be back for more on my next visit to Nyaung Shwe.

The Best restaurant in town! We are here 2 times and tried many different dishes and all of them were delicious! The service was very good and all the workers here are super nice and even ask you how spicy you want your food, and after that they are checking if you like the food.

You will see the smiling waiters what anytime you come. Great and local Indian food. I can’t forget the taste.

Can not recommend this place enough! All of the staff are very warm and welcoming. There is a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is delicious and the portion sizes are big also! I ordered the lamb rogan josh 🤤👍

Ohh yess! This Indian and Nepali food restaurant is one of the 2 top restaurants of Nyaung Shwe. If you stay in this city, at least visit and try time once, you will not regret it, I promise you!
I ate 4 times in 12 days at their place! The owners are very nice, a beautiful girl and a very friendly guy! They even said to me thank you for coming back! Amazing!
However the best review was the fact that I came back,I decided to recommend then to others who search on Google anytime for a good Indian restaurant by Inle lake! ENJOY Dosa King!

Best Indian food I ever had in Myanmar with friendly price. We had butter chicken and mixed vegetable masala and garlic nan. All of them tasted super good. We also got rice pudding as complimentary. Service is good, too. Highly recommend this place if you like Indian food.

such good service bringing us our food quickly and taking cups and plates shortly after we were done! food was delicious, we asked for medium spice and it was the perfect amount of spicy for us.
cost about 3,000-4,000MMK per dish so really cheap for the quality you get.

A great ambiant setting with humble and kind hosts. The food was well prepared and presented with reasonable wait times. They used fresh ingredients and gave us a complementary rice pudding. Fairly priced and overall an impressive standard. I would like to give 4.5 stars due to the fact the waitress tried to give us a cold rice that was from a previous customer order that they did not require any longer, it was however quickly replaced when we flagged it. I would like to mention we came here after being rudely turned away by Innlay Hut Indian Food House waiter/owner (Stan), and we are now glad we were!

Excellent atmosphere, great prices and a genuine customer service that makes you want to go back and try every single meal in the menu. The staff was very friendly and genuine as well as the owner, who happened to be the nicest guy! Can't wait to be back!

Absolutely best Indian food I've eaten till now. The staff is super friendly and mindful. Nice atmosphere and chilled music, too. I come every day to try the big variety of food they offer and every menu was great and delicious.
