A lovely temple well worth a visit. We combined it with a trip to the nearby markets and the Ayeyarwaddy river. On the day we visited we was fortunate that our trip coincided with a Buddhist festival.

Beautiful side buildings or (Tharlaryan) around the pagoda. There is a place for traditional cane ball playground with Burmese music.
