Best in town.
With the essential facilities and services such as Grand Ballroom, Restaurant serving all day, Gym, Strand suites for all business people and tour group, as well as individuals.

Nice view.
Wide corridor and almost every rooms can see the longest Talwin Bridge to Mottama far away. Especially the late afternoon and sunset, the strand street in front of hotel will be crowded and considered such a good place for walking with wind and enjoy the nice view.

Free wi-fi but need to improve the internet speed.

Clean room and nice service. Been there many times and still happy to go back.

It is a palace on the strang road in Mawlemyine. I often go there to pick clients up and dropout part of our southern myanmar trip. The views I can see just front side of the Hotel is river view. In the morning we have chance to watch local fishermen under the morning rays of Sun and also in the evening to feeding seagulls on the pavement by the river is wonderful. I can't forget of this experience.

This must be a costly 5 star hotel beyond my reach for now. I just enjoyed the magnificance of the hotel. The inmates of the hotel would really enjoy the vast riverside view. The name as I noticed on their sign board read as Mawlamyaing Hotel - that is with a different spelling

Visited the Strand View Restaurant for drinks and dinner. Had a lovely butterfish curry with rice cooked in Myanmarese style. The Apricot Brandy was a great drink along with the food and topped it off with some lovely hot ginger tea.
