Nanda Wunn Hotel

These guys were the best. It is a budget hotel, but it's a nice budget hotel with excellent service and a huge breakfast.
The rooms are spacious and come with AC, and the bathroom has plenty of hot water. The beds are comfortable and there is a desk for working and an outdoor balcony with chairs.
One of my favorite things about this place was the breakfast. It's *massive.* they give you fried rice or noodles with egg, a stack of toast with butter and jelly, different kinds of fruit, juice, and a pot of coffee ☕ It's a lot of food and will get your day started off right.
They have books and I believe some games by the front desk. There is a gate they lock at night, but the town's very safe.
And then the service. They were very, very friendly and went out of their way to take care of everything. If the power goes out (which it does everywhere in Myanmar, not just here) they have backup generators ready to go immediately. They will even bring by little rechargeable lanterns to use until the power comes back on. They will also bring by little snacks towards the end of the day, maybe a coffee packet and some bananas or some chocolates, things like that.
For a budget-priced hotel, they went above and beyond to provide excellent service and a filling breakfast. I was very impressed!

The rooms are very roomy. The service is also good. The Bangalore type rooms are convenient for family of 4. The price is very fair. The breakfast is also good and fresh.

This hotel give a impression of being in a teak woodland. It has a good and friendly staff. Also this hotel arranges trip to illey lake
