A Little Eco Lodge

The Ecolodge has 6 rooms allowing a max of 12 persons.

The place is beautiful. The restaurant is built with taste and offers an unusual design. The food served there is very good, with variety and the right quantity. I enjoyed every meal, hence not feeling the need for go out for dinner elsewhere.

the service is very good, and you are always taken care of by someone.

There is no reception. That is the concept. You come and you are immediately taken to your room. I like it. It feels like coming home. Our room was very large with an interior decorated with good taste. The bed is clean, no bad surprise there. The bathroom is clean and large.

In traditional houses, the noise insulation is weak like in most lodges I have tried in this country. This lodge has the same issue. Yet, I was not really disturbed by it.

We tried the spa. They have a room for the massage which was performed with professionalism. I therefore recommend it.

The lodge being outside the town, they have bikes available for you.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful, large, clean and tastefully decorated rooms with an incredibly kind, friendly and helpful host. Located in a quiet area just outside of town for a great night's sleep. Homemade food is delicious and everything you need is here: from (free) bike rental with lights to arrangements for boat, hiking and trekking tours. As the name indicates, the owner is eco responsible and along with running this hotel is also building a local high school: so your money is also going to a great individual with a good heart and worthwhile mission!

I spent 3 days there with my family from France. It is ran by a very nice family, kind and helpful !!
It was an unexpected experience, different from other regular places: out of the town, calm and cosy, with a vegetable garden, a few animals, and a beautiful bamboo bar, looking like a bird nest. If you are looking for a place that shows local life style, teaches how to cook great food, and the will to spend a calm and green journey, this is the place you must visit !

My husband and I enjoyed three days at this lovely eco lodge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Complimentary bicycles came in handy to pedal into town and explore its sites, but it was always nice to come back "home" to the tranquility around the lodge. Staff are friendly and the owner is extremely helpful with onward travel plans or to recommend local options.

Gorgeous place set not far from the edge of town. Very peaceful and with very friendly staff. Supported by a community-based tourism organization which also supports the beautiful Inle Horse Club.

Large, beautifully decorated rooms in the lodge, which is situated in a lush garden. Local weavers work below.

Three-house restaurant built nicely with bamboo. The restaurant was new when visited and food could use a little work. The Shan fried rice was excellent.

Just came here after a mountainbike tour. Very quiet and calm, perfect to sit here, enjoy some traditional food and let the heat just go by. In the Restaurant, completely build out of bamboo, there is always a nice breeze going through, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.

Amazing place !
We had the cooking class there. It was a great experience.
First visiting local people in their homes (from the nearby village), and having some very typical discussions with them....
THen going to the market to find other missing ingredints.
And finally cooking more than 10 dishes with the owner's sister. Amazing !

Such a beautiful family-run property. Located in the quiet part of touristy Nyaung Shwe town and it's a hidden gem of Inle lake. Spacious rooms and delicious food. Spa with reasonable rates is a bonus. Horse club is just in the neighbor. Tour arrangements, bus tickets or anything, just name it. They can give you the necessay assistance right away.

Mind blown. You can see good view during day time. No view at night time, but the bamboo building with lights is amazing.

If someone want to stay away from crowded places in Nyaung Shwe , A Little. Eco Lodge is the best .

A wonderful place where we feel home and in contact with nature. Everything is prepared with love by the charming owner and his family.
