Sanctuary Hotel Mandalay

The facilities & toiletries in the room could compete with a 4-star hotel. The staff are exceptionally helpful to the extent where it made me feel uncomfortable. We were given the 7th room which was supposed to be a junior suite. Dislikes: There was foul smell when I entered the hotel lobby & the room (from the AC) but it went away after a while. However I wish I could understand the staff's accent more, so that I could have enjoyed my conversations with them - also because they really tried to provide you with ALL the information you want, seriously. Street noise could be hard to bear in the first night, but it fades away around 10pm when traffic becomes rare on the road.

Great place - we really enjoyed our stay here. Right from the checkin the staff were very courteous and took good care of us. The breakfast is pretty good, and the sky bar is good too. You can have a free drink in the happy hour in the evening, and also food at the sky bar and have an easy evening.
The hotel also helps you hire a scooter, or a car with a driver. They also have a write up on all the pagodas and things to see in and around Mandalay - basically you can do without internet if you want to research where to go in Mandalay.
Rooms were very good, although the ones facing the street can be a problem for light sleepers - the traffic never really dies down.

A comfortable hotel in Mandalay - if you like walking it isn't far to Mandalay Palace and Mandalay Hill. Friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and good breakfasts. There is a roof bar with wide-ranging views over Mandalay - a lovely place to watch the sunset. Sometimes there are puppet shows on the roof terrace. We enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent room with great wifi, except for the fact that frequent blackouts cause the hotel to not run generator at night for the sake of saving fuel. Bad parking in daytime.

The hotel is good and very clean for Myanmar standard. The breakfast is excellent and the stuff is super friendly and helpful .

4월에 묵었었는데, 만달레이에서 가성비갑인듯! 지어진지 얼마안되서 깨끗하고 조식+저녁엔 옥상에서 칵테일도 무료로 1잔 마실수 있음. 차로가 바로 옆이라 워낙 빵빵거리긴하는데 하루종일 거리에서 듣던 소리라 금방 익숙해져서 괜찮았다..

Sehr Fteundliches hilfsbereites Personal. sehr sauber und helfen bei allem weiter. Tolles einheimisches Marionettentheater in der Athener Sky Bar am Dach. machen zwei sehr begabte Männer.

Muy amables. Tienen un show propio de marionetas y xilofono todos los dias en el bar de la azotea. Existe alquiler de motos en el mismo lugar. Volveria.
