Hotel Relais de la Haute Ville

Hommy place, with fireplace and very good food, as specially sea food! Hot water and very nice staff! Amazing view at sunset and sunrise time!

Le cadre es juste magnifique avec une vue imprenable sur la ville de Tana, l'atmosphère de la terrasse du haut es très reposant. De plus les plats sont très bon et de qualité.

Hôtel parfaitement situé et les chambres sont ultra spacieuses. Le personnel est très gentil. Difficile pour moi de mettre autre chose que 5 étoiles

Good view, good location, good service

On s'y est arrêté un soir d'embouteillages et nous n'avons pas été déçus des plats choisis.
Hélas, c'était le soir nous n'avons pas profité du jardinet.

Très beau cadre qui nous ramène au temps colonial. Hote très sympathique.

I loved the antique architecture of the hotel and it’s location. It’s near some tourist attractions like the Queens Palace. The staff are so warm, helpful and homely. The owner is always around and so any requests or needs are speedily responded to. For example: We complained about a damp smell in our room and in no time the owner had it sorted and we didn’t perceive the smell again during the rest of our stay. The chef is great with the meals and they have a wide range of menu available. I was impressed by the fact that they have a full blown restaurant on site which is known around the city. We enjoyed the meals we ordered. The breakfast is very simple and basic but you can order for additional elements and for as little as an extra cost of 8,000 Ar (€2) you can add eggs, sausages and some other things to the breakfast. We had a very spacious room that had a great rooftop view of the city. We were there this past week July 6-13 2922 and it was in the middle of winter and so we were so grateful for the steady hot water and the fact that downstairs in the restaurant you can have your dinner by the fireplace. They also had so local artists (musicians) around and are arranging to hold regular artistic evenings in the hotel. The high stairs you need to climb in and out of the hotel makes for a good work out. I believe it was built in that way to reserve the historic nature of the architectural design . We were all round satisfied and will be returning in the future.

Simple, but ok. Decent restaurant, rooms could use a heater if you are visiting during the cold season...
