Relais des Plateaux Hotel & Spa

I can rate only the restaurant in the hotel. We didn’t stay there. We had two lunches there and I really liked their food. We ordered fish dishes and desserts. All I liked. The service was bad the second time, the waiters service is not well coordinated, our table was served with different people and always they ask and forget… our coffee was delayed for 30 minutes, so we ate our desserts without it, was not nice… anyway we reduced their tips for that.

An excellent Hotel and restaurant located a short drive from the airport. The hotel has a shuttle bus going to and from the airport.
There is also a spa available with prior booking, a shop with Madagascan products. The restaurant serves a great range of dishes and accompanying drinks including wines.

I live and work in Madagascar. Relais is my go to hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and the hotel is well organized and a great place to relax with a nice pool, spa, etc. Food is consistently good (French style cuisine with some western options). Complimentary airport shuttle makes transport to and from the airport easy. Relais is also close to the airport which avoids having to worry about traffic in town. Having tried a number of other hotels in Tana, Relais is one of the best.

Relaid des Plateaux Hotel and Spa far exceeded our expectations for Antananarivo accommodations. All aspects of our 3 different stays were lovely and so appreciated. Abundantly comfortable beds, rooms, amenities; extremely kind staff; and outstanding meals throughout the day. Airport shuttle was also very convenient. Many thanks to all staff and management! I spend there 4 nights on March 22. Best place to stay. The staff is so friendly, food is perfect and the Spa is so nice to have as a plus. Shuttle to the airport was on time. I highly recommend this place, as it's near the airport and kind of oasis, where you can stay and relax some days.

I really enjoyed my stay - comfy beds, great breakfast buffet and generally good restaurant. Added bonus are the nice pool area and on-site Spa. Would stay again during lay-overs !

Beautiful hotel located in Antanarivo Close to the airport. Shuttle service available to the airport makes this a great stopover location or overnight. There is a wonderful spa area and large pool. The rooms are clean and well updated. The dining is excellent. Exceptional French cuisine at very reasonable prices. The pool area is well maintained and perfect for cooling off during the day heat.

Positives: calm looking place, not far from airport. rooms are very spacious and luxury. air con did its job very well. would recommend it to anyone

Negatives: at the restaurant, i had to shout for attention from the waiters.

Room was clean and beds comfortable. We had the family room. Hotel staff very accommodating. Restaurant on site was fairly decent. Breakfast included in room price. Very short distance from Airport.

Nice hotel. Relaxed atmosphere and reliable pick up service. Perfect location close to the airport if you have an early flight. Good restaurant as well.

If you are looking for a place outside of the city center near the airport or FBO you won't find a better place. The rooms were good, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms were great. I would recommend the hotel restaurant, the food was great.

My wife and I spent couple nights at this hotel. I would say, this is the best ive been during my trip in Tana, with the help of Madasafaritour, we sincerely appreciate their recommendation. It is close to the airport, clean, smiling staff and responsive.

Sometimes it is not the facilities or the design that reserve five stars. In this case the friendly personel with their hospitality and the amazing chef made the difference. Unique food and top hotel staff.

Excellent French fare served in a super clean & tastefully decorated ambiance. No houseflies anywhere. Friendly waiters. Good wines.

Great hotel we used twice while in transit through Tena, so close to the airport after doing a long haul, staff very friendly, good draught beer and food
