Bread Mafan'

Sadly upstairs was full, I was seated downstairs for an extended period of time. The food was alright. The building is well maintained. The toilet was clean.

Excellent bread! Great choice of pastries and cakes, though I didn't try them.

The service was okay. Onyl 2 waitresses was asking me if I needed anything when I was there. They were super friendly and helpful with the expiring wifi password.
I will probably come back for them but otherwise I'll take my sandwich to go.

I really like this place, it is one of the best bakery in town, it became an addict for their croissant beure, i tried also Tropezienne that i cannot find any where and it is very tasty, tarte de fraise also is delicious

We are staying at the Sakamanga Hotel next door so naturally hang out here quite a bit. We just found out that this place is actually the brainchild of the owner of the Sakamanga Hotel. Bread Mafan stands out in the French pastry market that is on the upswing in Antananarivo. The éclair au citron is surprisingly super tangy that speaks to my palate. The Quiche Lorraine is one of the best I have tasted which I don’t say lightly. For a moment I forgot that I am in Africa...it feels more like somewhere in southern France. Love. PS. The breakfast is excellent & not to be missed!

Toujours un bon endroit pour s'offrir des plaisirs, les pâtisseries sont très bonnes malgré leur prix mais cela en vaut largement la peine, le service est d'autant plus souriant que rapide. Le wifi est offert. Restaurant à recommander.

Es el lugar dónde suelo ir a tomar el desayuno. Situada en la cuesta del Sakamanga es una pastelería/panadería bastante correcta. Lo mejor es el personal, muy amable y sonriente. Los productos son de calidad. Deliciosos pasteles. La fórmula Petit bread para el desayuno (bebida caliente, pan, mantequilla, mermelada, un jugo y un bollo) es bastante económica (15000 ariary). También recomendable las tortillas, las crêpes y toda la viennoiserie.
