Amazing experience when you are in Agadir where you can buy anything you would dream of carpets, tea pots, leather products like shoes, wallets, belts, medicine, magnets, vegetables. However be ready to haggle. Everyone is inviting you to their shops to “just take a look” but as soon as you ask how much they will push you to buy so make sure you only ask if you’re interested in buying. Then depends if you are first time in Morocco and where are you from (they will ask you) they will give you price of product. Do not pay more than half of what they ask. The best thing when they don’t want to agree just leave and they will run after you giving you better price and if not you will find another shop where they might believe me. I love the atmosphere, for my gf it was bit too much but I think is must see when you’re in Morocco!

It's a nice place for sure but don't get yourself in tricky situations with the merchants. They do want to make a sale of course and will promise you the world. I'd recommend to negotiate prices too. They will often ask for triple the price so just be aware of that.

An awesome market I've ever seen anywhere. This was my first visit to Agadir. I'm very impressed with this market. You can by everything here at a reasonable price.

A must see visit in Agadir a staggeringly large souk selling everything all under cover. The displays of fruit and veg are amazing and the people were very friendly. So much to see and take in. Be prepared to bargain if you want to purchase but a great experience and fantastic for people watching.

HUGE market! It’s a maze inside with what feels like millions of vendors! Literally anything you could want in one place. It’s clean and safe but I recommend going with a guide or a local. All of the vendors try to get you attention and haggling is an art form. I was overwhelmed but my friend loved the excitement of it all.

I was worried that this place was going to be hectic with lots of people trying to pressure me into buying stuff, but it was really quite mellow. Any buying pressure was minimal and I found out that I actually enjoy haggling! Ask a price and the chances are it's going to be way over what it should be. Haggling here is a very friendly activity. No hard feelings. Just a bit of fun. Lovely people. Remember landmarks as you go round so you don't get lost.

You can find almost everything you want here. Locals come here for weekly fruit and Veg shop, as well as for household items, and tourists are spoilt for choice with what's available here. Always best to shop around, don't settle with the first shop and price you find. Sellers are out to make a profit, naturally, but some sellers can take advantage if they can get away with it. What I love about this souk, though, compared to the souk in Marrakech, for example, is that sellers here are not overly pushy or aggressive. If you don't buy, you don't buy, they'll wish you well and move onto the next potential customer. It's the 3rd largest souk in Africa, I believe, and for the experience alone its worth visiting. Doesn't open on Mondays. Newly renovated walls and parking spaces available around the souk complex, too.

Here you can find almost everything and get lost as it is immense !!!
And be ready to put your negotiation skills into practice as the prices are fixed and you can get bargains. Sometimes even for 3 times less than the inicial price.

This is a massive market. You will get lost.
People are friendly and not too pushy. You need to learn to politely say no. We bought a few items
Prices are what you are happy to pay. Usual haggling needed. Lots of quirky shops and cafes. Try the crepe place.

A very nice and safe place. A couple of vendors were somehow aggressive, but most of them are friendly and nice. If you are shopping, make sure to negotiate half of the initial price.

I'm fascinated with the new look of the Souk and how the authorities kept the traditional way of Moroccan buildings. Also the shops are well designed and clean. I'm amazed that most of people there speak multiple languages (English, German, French, polish and even Russian). They just have to set fixed prices.

mix of farmer’s market, second hand shops, item shops, restaurants. definitely recommend - of course you have to know the situations to mavigate a moroccan market (haggling, negotiating, etc) otherwise everyone super nice, less pushy than marrakech. had great meal at the pictures restaurant, also baklava in an another shop.

Not as crazy as the one in Marrakech but certainly an eye opener if you’ve never been to a souk before, they always start high so make sure you understand the conversion rate £ so you don’t overpay but remember they don’t have a lot so a couple of pounds means a lot more to them
