Auberge l'Oasis Foum Zguid

Very warm hosts, Ahmed and Mustafa, happy to listen and serve. The rooms are very basic but please note this is off the main trails that lost people visiting Morocco take.

Foum Zguid is nestled in the foothills of the nearby mountains and the frontier to the Saharan desert. The inn can arrange outings to the desert with the nice driver and guide, Talib.

Personally if material comforts are not your priority, I would recommend finding these kind of places to stay to help the local economy and a true local and offbeat experience that you’ll only find here.

Just a good vibe. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Nice shaded courtyard to eat or just chill. Very quiet location.

A climatic place at the gates of the desert. Clean and cozy. Friendly and very helpful host. A great place to stop when coming back from the desert. Very tasty food.

A great place to explore the neighboring area from. You'll receive typical Saharan hospitality. If you just need to find some shade and a cup of tea it's the perfect place to chill.

This place is positively buzzing with a warm atmosphere.

The inn is traditionally built of mud and straw and absolutely charming, especially the salon and outdoor dining area. The staff is over the top friendly and the food is great. The internet works just fine.

Excellent séjour passé à l'Oasis. Nous avions une chambre spacieuse et salle de bains neuve. Des salons confortables pour boire le thé, lire ou se reposer.
Un accueil chaleureux et très sincère de Moustapha qui nous laisse un excellent souvenir du Maroc qu'il sait si bien décrire avec amour et humour.
Un accueil et des conversations aussi très intéressantes et plaisantes d'Ahmed et la gentillesse de Bader.
La cuisine d'Atika est excellente!
Une escapade inoubliable de beauté dans le désert!
Ravis d'avoir séjourner dans cette auberge et d'avoir rencontrer ces belles personnes.
On a envie d'y revenir.

Superbe cadre, calme et comfortable à deux pas de la vielle kasbah et de l'oasis.
Accueil chaleureux et humain loin de la pression touristique, avec un beau petit déjeuner pour un prix très raisonnable.

De passage dans la ville on a déjeuné dans ce restaurant très accueillant. Bien placé. Les plats étaient avec des produits frais, préparation au moment et copieux. Je recommande vivement

Wir haben uns für einen geführten Wüstenausflug entschieden.
Der Fahrer war sehr erfahren und hat uns zu jeder Zeit ein gutes Gefühl gegeben.
Unser Guide war extrem freundlich, kompetent und aufmerksam.
Wir sind insgesamt 180km durch die tolle Landschaft gefahren und haben Fossilien, Malereien, Brunnen, Oasen und Nomaden bewundert.
Im Wüstencamp gibt es ein rustikales Haus mit Sanitären Anlagen, ein Aufenthaltszelt und 11 Schlafzelte.
Wir hatten nur 4 Grad Außentemperatur, gefroren haben wir nachts nicht.
Die gesamte Verpflegung war toll.
Wir haben sehr gut gegessen.
Zusätzlich kann in der Wüste ein Dromedarführer gebucht werden. Außerdem kann man im Camp Karten spielen, Dünensurfen und am Lagerfeuer sitzen.
Dieses Abenteuer ist ganz weit weg von Reisebussen, sondern perfekt geplanter Individualtourismus.

Tres bien situé au coeur de la ville au porte du désert et du lac Iriki

Teriam de ser atribuídas muitas mais estrelas a estas pessoas, pela sua dedicação, disponibilidade, simplicidade e pelo pessoal sempre muito prestável e incansável. As instalações são de um Albergue, não é um hotel de 5*, mas suportar um grupo de 12 pessoas, num local modesto, podem crer que é difícil. Refeições excelentes. Uma viagem até ás dunas do Chegaga nos seus próprios jeeps foi o topo. Recomendamos a visita ao kasbah, tão bem conduzida por estes amigos. Bem hajam. Muito obrigado.
