Riad Assia

Great place to stay with excellent service. Rooms good, safe and relaxing. Only disappointment was the dinner at 120 MAD per person which wasn't worth the money.

What an exceptional experience we had at this lovely Riad. Aziz, our host , welcomed us with a walking tour of the nearby Casbah and oasis water system, which supplies Foum Zaquid with delicious water. We returned to our rooms, where the walls and floors were decorated with multiple carpets, keeping the room quiet and warm, or cool, as needed. The shared dining area is open to the sky, where we enjoyed a nearly full moon view. Our dinner began with a scrumptious parsnip and squash soup, followed by lemon-chicken tajine. After dinner, Aziz and his wife, Khadijah, and the other staff surprised us with an anniversary party for our friends, whom I'd mentioned were celebrating 27 years of marriage. They decorated the salon, pulled out the boom box, made a beautiful cake and danced and sang with us. What an amazing effort and what a joy to get to celebrate with our local hosts! Aziz also leads tours to the Erg and Lak Iriki, and we hope very much to return so we can join him at these places. This riad was an exceptional value but our hosts made it worth so much more.

An excellent destination for those looking for tranquility. The riad consists of an architectural structure that mimics the traditions of the region, with the possibility of booking excursions towards all the tourist attractions in the region (sand dunes, mountains, oases, stone engravings). The restaurant also offers everything that Moroccan tables abound in.

We booked one night at the riad but then didn't stay there because Assad recommended us to go to the desert and organized a tour for us. We can really recommend doing a desert tour from this riad. Assad's brother and another guide took us to different places in the desert and it was an experience we will never forget. They were so nice to us and we had so much fun. It was also very interesting to see how people live in such a remote place.
The riad looked simple but very nice, would probably recommend it even though we didn't stay there.

A really friendly and welcoming riad next to an ancient casbah. The staff are brilliant. Aziz got us fresh information about the route we were taking before we set off, Abdul was very friendly and helpful too. The food is excellent too.

Cleanest hotel i visit in Morocco.

Nous y avons déguster un excellent café tout en discutant avec le patron qui parle très bien français et est très sympa. Une autre fois, ce fut une succulente tajine servie le soir sous les arbres. Nous recommandons.

Buen hotel para quedarse un par de días, la comida está bastante buena y tiene un recepcionista que habla español y te trata super bien, siempre está pendiente de ti, hay agua caliente todo el día y el precio por pareja con cena y desayuno fueron 50€

Si vous souhaitez partir dans le désert, manger un bon repas ou bien passer une nuit a foum zguid, n'hésitez pas à passer voir Aziz au riad, il vous conseillera merveilleusement bien.
Le tajine et les brochettes sont délicieux.

Endroit calme et propre, le repas est magnifique et la chambre climatisée. Aziz au petit soin et de bon conseil.

Très bon accueil, chambre confortable, diner et petit déjeuner au TOP.
Nous reviendrons.

Excelente!!!! Abdul es un profesional único :) nos hemos sentido mejor que en casa, muy servicial y amable (y cocina de lujo, riquísimo, incluso teníamos la barriga mal y nos ha cocinado lo que le hemos pedido)! Las habitaciones estan limpias y con aire acondicionado!

Sehr charmantes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber und haben Klimaanlagen. Der Innenhof läd zum Verweilen im Schatten ein. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum, der Kasbah und der Oase entfernt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte mein Notizbuch und Stift vergessen und sofort wurde jemand geschickt mir Ersatz zu kaufen. Frühstück war immer ausreichen und pünktlich zu meiner Wunschuhrzeit fertig.

Très beau séjour dans ce riad parfaitement agencé. Bel accueil, bonne table, cadre très agréable.
Le petit trip en 4x4 avec nuit dans le désert fut tout simplement parfait. L'organisation fut parfaite notamment pour les enfants.
Une seule envie, y retourner !
