Morocco Local Guide

The three days we spent with Abdel and Mohammed from Trek Atlas were my favourite from months of travel in Africa. Great food, communication, hospitality, and so nice for us to be able to connect with a guide close to our age. A very authentic experience that was different from other touristic excursions, very treasured memories for us. Hope to see you again soon one day!

We went trekking with Abdell and Muhammad. Abdell was the best guide I have had in all of my travels in Africa. Instantly he was cracking jokes and telling us about the place. On top of that Muhammad was a fantastic cook.

I spent 6 days with Ibrahim and trekked along Toubkal and visited various places in the local area. Ibrahim was extremely flexible, professional and kind. He went above and beyond with his extensive local knowledge making everything very convenient and smooth. I would certainly recommend Ibrahim to anyone to use.

Ibrahim is an awesome guide and a more amazing person. He was our guide for our family of 4, including 2 teens to Toubkal in Sept. His attention to our ability and our health relating to the affects of the altitude was appreciated. He made sure our daughter was well taken care when she had issues. And personally escorted our son when he had issues too. He made sure that the village took us under their wing. Berber style.
His English is excellent and so is his sense of humour.
We felt very taken care of the whole time. And enjoyed the many conversations and laughs.
Highly recommend Ibrahim. He will add much to your experience. Its really important that someone local is used. The knowledge and skill needed.

I was one in a group of 15 people who Ibrahim led on a 100km Sahara Trek organised by Charity Challenge on behalf of Alzheimer's Research UK in March 2023. Ibrahim and his team of 11 staff were absolutely superb from start to finish of our trek. All aspects of the trek, camping, food, route, hygiene etc. were top class. Lots of fun was had along the way and Ibrahim and his team made every effort to ensure that we enjoyed what was a pretty challenging trek. I can't recommend them highly enough.

It was an awesome experience, honestly my favorite activity in my 2 weeks trip in Morocco.

The guide was attentive at all times, told us a lot of curiosities of the area and created an excellent travel atmosphere. I am looking forward to return to make a route with them for this wonderful area.

I was part of a group of 14 raising money for charity by trekking 100km across the Sahara (March 2023). Right from the outset, Ibrahim made us feel welcomed to the country he clearly loves. He and the team met us at the airport at Oarzazate to take us to the hotel prior to our adventure which started the following day. We spent five nights camping in the desert and everything possible was done to ensure our safety, comfort and enjoyment. What a week! Ibrahim added to it with his humour, stories and insight into the people and places of Morocco. I’m hoping to head back to visit the High Atlas Mountains and I fully intend to get in touch with Ibrahim.

Had a sick time climbing toubkal with abdol. They were super hospitable and welcoming and taught us a lot. The view from the summit with the sunrise was unreal. Highly recommend!!

We summited Toubkal with Morocco Local Guide and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Atlas mountains both affordably and in good company. From pick up to drop off the entire Local Guide team were very considerate and accommodating to our needs (we needed to be picked up/dropped off in time for specific trains). Four fantastic hot meals were prepared for us as was lovely tea at every break. The guide was very knowledgable and paced the hike well. The sunrise view from Toubkal was amazing and well worth seeing :)

We had a wonderful experience in the Atlas in early June. Ibrahim made sure we did not go beyond our capabilities and suggested a number of day hikes from the village rather than Toubkal summit. This was the correct choice and we still managed a good part of the hike to base camp. The trip to the Sahara and climbing sand dunes was fantastic as were the visits to Dades and Todra gorges. We will definitely be visiting Morocco again with Ibrahim.

I went as part of group trek through part of the Sahara desert with ibrahim and his company. We were out for 5 days and everything about it was excellent. Ibrahim, Hassan, Omar and everybody else were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much for them and they would stop and answer any questions you had about the area. Everything was ran smoothly and the food and camp set up were beyond what I could have hoped. Would 100% recommend using these guides for any of the trips/treks they run.

Brahim was our guide for Imlil trek for 2 days and overseeing our 10 day trip to Morocco. He was very welcoming and professional, catering to our needs as a family, adapting the plans and route as needed which was excellent. As a family of 4 with 2 older teens, Brahim was brilliant at ensuring all of us were well cared for, having rests when needed and providing general enthusiasm and humour along the way! His knowledge and experience are very evident as shown by relaxed and highly competent leading. His ability to plan and amend activities as requested made us feel very valued, again adding to such a memorable trip. We loved lunch in a local home, always a highlight, amazing food and warm welcome. Brahim is excellent and would highly recommend him as a guide.

I met Ibrahim on our hiking day-trip to the Atlas Mountains. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area, friendly and considerate. A huge thank you to Brahim for the excellent service he & his wonderful team provided in supporting my recent trip to Morocco. My trip was to the high Atlas Mountains & desert with a group of doctors completing our diploma in expedition medicine. I arrived early & Brahim arranged for me to leave my luggage safely & efficiently so I could explore Marrakech. This set the tone for the week.
