This is the best place you could stay, I loved it!! stayed solo for two nights, Frederic and Zora were the most welcoming and kind people. It wasn’t busy (low season), but they had prepared dinner for me and gave me great advice and a 2hr route for hiking the next day.

Frederic then kindly took me out with his goat (which I found funny but she’s very cute) on a 3 hour hike over the mountain and showed me a lovely village while explaining the story.

Room was clean, and the building was given a lot of love and very well looked after.

We came by for dinner - way to early after a long hike. They welcomed is nevertheless and did their best to feed us - and succeeded splendidly. The beef-targin was tender and the vegetarian option tasty. And they've entertained us throughout the meal. Finally, loved the cats!

Came for a meal with friends. Very accommodating hosts and delicious food in an authentic setting. Tagine was fantastic. Would love to come back in better weather to enjoy the outdoor terraces.

Just came in for lunch. French speaking hosts were very welcoming and prepared an amazing vegetarian lunch for us. It included a salad, nice rice dish and tajine + bread. All for a good price! They have got a cute dog as well. Would recommend!

Finest restaurant we’ve been to in Morocco. Choose between a beautiful, homely indoor setting or tranquil outdoor seating amongst grapevines. As the owners and staff only speak French we weren’t sure what we ordered but were assured it was a local specialty. When it arrived we were delighted to find the food very fresh and tasty. Highly recommended!

Very well maintained gite in a beautiful setting. The owner knows the region very well and will give you all the necessary advise. Best lamb tajine we've eaten in the whole of Morocco. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer due to our busy scheme, but definitely a place to remember and to recommend! Next time a MTB trip will surely be on the planning!

Great service from friendly and helpful hosts. Rooms excellent with small living area included that means you are getting a small apartment rather than a bedroom. Food excellent with fine views from terrasse.

We had a dinner in this hotel and received the best service we had in our entire stay in Morocco. The owner was so attentive, so accommodating. We moved us into the living space, as it was a bit cold in the terrace, served us fantastic tagine with fresh bread. We had complimentary soup and yummy desserts. Would stay there if we are back in Imlil!

We had an amazing stay at Zohra and Frederique lodge! The rooms were cosy, warm and clean, the food was delicious and local. Frederique and his cute goat showed us wonderfull places in the mountains! I recommand this place for everyone who wants to relax and spend quality time in the nature.

Excellent food, beautiful scenery, great welcoming. We just stoped for lunch (delicious) and the owner took time to chat a bit and give us some tips about the area and where to go next. Really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend going to Zaratoustra Auberge.

Fantastic place to stay, with great hosts. Feels just like home, yet our home does not feature 6 terraces. Most definitely a recommendation if you go to Imlil, or Morocco in general. Very clean, quality rooms.

The owner is very friendly and brought out exquisite lamb tangine. Highly recommended for food and place to stay the night.

Great place, great owners, great food. EU standards. It will be one of the best memories I will have from Marocco and Imlil in particular. Go there to eat and sleep. Francois will also recommend you unknown local paths and provide with maps and instructions.

Excellent Moroccan food in a fancy building. Everyday they try to have one vegetarian option.

Very clean beds and awesome interior design and staff are so nice and talkative. Owner is so friendly, modest and kind.
