Need good footwear and parts are quite steep, meet other walkers, mules and 4x4 vehicles on the road!

Guide we had was amazing, he spoke French and English for the group

Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa and Morocco. Its height is 4167 meters above sea level. It is closer to Marrakesh, as it is easy to climb to as it is closer to the city of Marrakesh and its airport.

Toubkal Trek 2 days - but very tiring. Family of 2 Adults, 2 Teenagers. Collected from accommodation in Marrakech, met by our guide (Hamid) in Imlil and then started walking around 1000; lunch at 1230 and arrived at Refuge du Toubkal at 1645. Dinner, bed and up at 0430. Walking 0500 (with head torches), summit at 08:45. Back to Refuge for lunch at 12:15, start back down at 1315 and Imlil for 17:45. Return Marrakech 19:00.
Guide was great, food (as cooked by Brahim) was awesome and filling. We stuck to bottled water - available at 12Dh for 1.5ltres at the side of the path and at the Refuge. We hired sleeping bags ahead of the trek (took liners) but not needed: Refuge was roasting (even though only 4C in the morning)- take ear plugs as snorers everywhere and 24 in the dormitory! Needed hat and gloves for final ascent - rivers frozen during the morning in August. Shorts and sun cream in the afternoon.
View from the top makes all the exertion worth it! Trek in Morocco was a reliable company and great communications ahead of the visit with Hamid. Fully recommended Toubkal-ascent.tw.ma.

Hicimos una marcha de dos horas aprox por los pueblos bereber,también visitamos una cascada y comimos en un pueblito muy alto como 2000 m.la comida muy bien en una terraza al sol super bonita decorada con adornos típicos bereber.

و الرحلة تستغرق يومين رائعين من صعود الجبل مرورا بشمهروش احد ملوك الجن السبع
