Riad Atlas 4 Seasons

Just stayed at Riad Atlas 4 Seasons and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Location:

It’s super close to Imlil town’s shops and restaurants, as well as the start of many hiking trails.

Room:

The room we stayed in is en-suite, with a shared living area with 2 other rooms. The hotel also has a restaurant and terrace. The room we stayed in has fantastic views of the mountains, is clean, and has AC. The shower was perfect, with hot water and great pressure every time.

Service:

What really made my stay special was the hospitality. The family running this place makes you feel right at home from the get-go.

We booked for one night only, but upon arrival we knew straight away that we wanted to stay longer. The riad is beautiful, the roof terrace nice and spacious, the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly. They really make you feel at home. It's located on a hill with a stunning view and you're surrounded by tranquility. For sure our best stay in Morocco!

I am writing this on the beautiful terrace here. We came here to relax for a few days and be in quiet nature. This is a beautiful home with beautiful souls in it. Everyone here will make you feel so welcome. Rachid (I hope I spelled that right) is an incredible host. Any questions you have about religion, culture, family, anything, he is open and happy to explain to you. The food is simply amazing. We arrived late and they fed us. We slept in late and spent an entire day enjoying the mountain view, watching people and cats and birds and the sun. It was so relaxing. Another day we had a wonderful guide who took us on a 4 hour walk to a waterfall and to buy a rug. Everything here is perfect, hosted by truly wonderful people. When we come back to Morocco we will surely return here.

Stayed in January. My only regret is staying for only 1 night. Room was perfect and clean. The food was delicious. The views were amazing. Service was impeccable. Definitely a place I want to return again and again.

It is tucked away where some may find the one lane road there a bit 'interesting'. But our average sedan hired car managed it fine. All part of the special experience.

Great place to relax leave all the noise of Marrakech enjoy the culture of berbers and connecting with nature. Rachid had great service very nice person and took care of us! Definitely would recommend

The perfect stay in Imlil! Rooms are family friendly, spacious, beautiful modern maroccan decor, very clean and comfortable (including the beds)! And the cherry on top: the very best view in Imlil - from the room's varanda and the restaurant's terrace - looking over the valley and straight onto mount Toubkal. Simply stunning in Fall colours!! Beautiful and pleasant 15 mins walk to the village center. Rashid is an outstanding host, the epitome of Berber hospitality, very attentive to details, provides best advice regarding tours in the area (toroughly enjoyed the mountain drive to Asni he suggested). Rashid's niece is a very efficient and caring manager. The remaining staff is amazing and the food is delicious. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable! We'll be back for the spring blossoms.

If I could give this place 7 stars out of 5, I would. This riad was a highlight of our trip - not only is the guesthouse itself perfect, but more importantly, the family running it are so kind, authentic and helpful, that you immediately feel it is a home away from home.

The riad is fantastically located with panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding mountains including the Jebek Toubkal, the tallest mountain in North Africa. The rooms all have wonderful details like a few items of Berber clothing for you to try on either to keep warm or simply for fun and plaster decoration on the ceiling. They are quiet, clean and comfortable with showers with excellent water pressure and hot water.

The food is excellent and served in a dining room draped with Berber rugs and surrounded by delictately carved wooden furniture, with the panoramic view of the mountains. We also enjoyed chatting with other guests here.

Most importantly, the manager Rashid is a kind and energetic soul who will go above and beyond to ensure you have a great trip. We arrived late on the first day, after a long drive, and he showed up in the village centre to help us navigate the rickety road to get to the guesthouse; he managed to sort out rooms for us when we booked super last minute and theoretically the guesthouse was all booked up (including arranging one at his uncle's place next door); he organized a guided trek up Toubkal for us with a great guide (Hassan) for a reasonable price; he lent us a sleeping bag and gloves for the trip, at no extra cost; and he spent time chatting with us, in a way that made us feel like friends, not clients, and gave us a great insight into local life.

His niece, Bouchra (apologies if the spelling is wrong, I should have asked how to spell it!), who helps him run the guesthouse was also an absolute star - thanks to both of you! Staying with you was really special.

Had been to this place with family last weekend. Amazing place with the best host. Everyone there made us feel like we are part if their family.

They served amazing food, fresh and homemade. Supported us with anything we wanted, showed us the whole property and also helped us with understanding the market prices of items for our shopping in the nearby souq.

5 days after our stay is when the earthquake happened. We tried contacting Rachid multiple times, but was not going through. Though from the media we got to know the whole village is safe with just having network outages at the moment.

Hope everything goes back to these mountain people ad they are the kindest and warmest like any other parts of morocco.

We stayed in April and had the most wonderful experience. It is truly a special place run by very wonderful caring and special people. Sending lots of love and hoping everyone and the family is ok after this recent earthquake.

Atlas 4 Seasons is not the Four Seasons, but they make up by the charm of the location (Imlil is a charming Berber Village in High Atlas Mountains), delicious dinners the ladies cook, and excellent service by Rashid, the manager/?owner. It is very affordable, unlike the Four Seasons. I believe the riad is run by the family and the little hamlet it is located is all occupied by the extended family. I would much rather stay here than any Four Seasons. The kind people of High Atlas depend on tourism for their survival and the COVID pandemic and the recent earthquake have had devastating impact on their economy. Imlil is not terribly affected by the earthquake as nearly villages and tourism infrastructure is intact. It is ready for visitors and should not be skipped.

Riad Atlas 4 season is just fabulous 😍 I’ve spent 3 days with my husband there, once we arrived we’ve been welcomed by Bouchra who was so kind, the room was clean and comfortable with a panoramic view situated in a calm area, the meals were just WOOW I can’t describe how delicious it was 🤤 big thanks to the cooking staff , Bouchra & Rachid….👍
They made us feel like we’re home with their kindness and generosity 🤗

An incredible experience. Ibrahim and his brother were kind and generous. And their wives cooked delicious meals and were so welcoming of us and ours kids.
