La Cathédrale Imsfrane

Cathedrale of Amsafrane is a 1868m high mountains, and a historical symbol in the Amazigh culture of Morocco. Located in the regions of Azilal, in the High Atlas. Called by this name as the mountain carries on it's top a christian cross.
The best season to visit it is spring season.

It was an amazing place for hiking and camping.

If you're are a fan of camping, Bushcraft or any activities related to nature, this is the place to be.
You can camp safely near the river and enjoy the splendid view of the cathedral mountain. Just make sure to check the weather forecast before heading for it.
Please, leave your place clean and put off your fire before leaving.

I crossed the massive rock while on a road trip on my bike. My experience is very positive about this scenic road and the view was just amazing. I did not encounter any issue but running out of gas could be a problem, specially if you are alone as there is no refueling station nearby. I wish I could have spent more time to explore more that area.
