Sigulda bobsleigh, luge and skeleton track

I was there for competition and the track was great for sliding.

We came Latvia specifically to do the bobsleigh. This was an amazing experience. Nothing can prepare you for the first corner. We reached speeds of 65mph/105kmh and really enjoyed it. An extreme adrenaline rush. Would definitely recommend for the adventurous. It's located approx 60 mins car ride from central Riga.

We came to look around the track and were able to walk down to the finish line and watch the international teams doing training. The lady in reception was very nice and friendly and gave us tips on where to go to get the best views.

Very interesting place with great views and in the same time is very attractive place for extreme lovers. The cost of one Bob drive is 10€/7€. The Bob is for 4 people. The first one is a driver+3 lovers of extreme. After finishing the car lifts back to the starting point. You can also go to the place (6nd floor) of start of the real sportsmen. The very important thing is CASH ONLY. This may be inconvenient.

A fantastic experience, and a great day out of Riga not only for an activity such as bob-sleighing but also seeing a charming Latvian town.

Great stop on the way to Tallin! Amazing views. Very cool to explore and walk down the track, one of the only places in the world you can do that. Hopefully can try it out in the winter some time!

Recommend for sleds and extrem lovers. Great for winter and summer fun. You will never forget this feeling when you get down the track. Wonderful and scary!

Absolutely enormous fun, you won't stop smiling for a week after going down the bobsled and skeleton runs! You can use an organised tour, but this is one of those activities which is really easy to catch the local train to (about 1 hour from Riga), a short walk, then pay in cash when you arrive. We did book, but most participants did not, you just turn up, and take your turn. Don't go to the tower or viewing platform, instead make your way to the orange roofed building to the right of the tower, you'll see some signs. Check the times in advance, but it seems to start operating around 12:00 in the winter. They have a padded bobsled (4 people), a padded skeleton (head first, which can take 2), and the Olympic bobsled. No experience necessary, they provide helmets and a little instruction from the helpful bobsled staff who speak English. Children can do the padded bobsled with adults too. The Olympic one is really fast and fun, one of those activities you simply won't stop talking about. They bring you back up to the top on a truck so you can easily do several runs (crowds permitting). Highly recommended!

Quick drive through on both occasions but you drop a star for forgetting to put the tomato ketchup in. I resent paying for this with chicken nuggets in Latvia when you should get at last 1 for free like in the UK and like Hesburger. If I pay for something remember to give this!

Winter soft bob sled is amazing fun for a family!!! 10 Euro per person over 6 years old. It goes 80kms/h and was super fast and fun! Open from 12-5 on Sat and Sun. Great little town to explore too! Great day trip.

Did the “soft” bobsledding and was not disappointed. Went faster than I thought, and would definitely recommend!

It was great extreme descent in a strange thing called buchka. You should pre-order visit time in website course there are a lot of training and competition and if you don't do pre-order you can't go down. One adult ticket 10euro

When traveling to Sigulda you must try this attraction! We did the slow version but you can also go down the track with professionals and that’s something I definitely want to do!

It's nice if here a free weekend :) just come over and watch the profis.
