After over a decade working in best country clubs in the states I can honestly say they are the best in Latvia from what I’ve tried so far. Not overpriced, portions are good size, each and every dish was very delicious. We will be back soon. Thank you, Kungu Rija!!!

Very nice wooden location, with nice landscape surrounding. The place had a great pseudo-historical atmosphere, with many lovely details. The food and service were excellent, though a bit pricey too. Recommendation!

Awesome food, awesome service! They managed to feed us at the highest level although there was no electricity few moments after order was made. Staff is super nice and very polite!

Very nice food! Excellent service. A nice man who served us was very polite, wearing neat white shirt, speaking fluently 3 languages. Atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. Even though a tourist group arrived few min before us , we were seated in a separate hall with quiet and peace. Highly recommended. Food: duck breast and deer

To have opened doors for you tells a lot about what level restaurant you’re about to enter. All courses were delicious and garnished in spectacular fashion. If you are in Sigulda/Turaida, this is the place to be. 👌

Good service and excellent food late evening. We took duck breast and pork chops with mushroom sauce and both were delicious.

Actually stopped at this restaurant for lunch on my cruise excursion. And was very surprised at how very nice and elegant the restaurant and service were. The food was delicious and the atmosphere, architecture and grounds were beautiful.

Super tasty food in a great environment. The restaurant also welcomed our dog on the terrace and brought water for him so that was nice.

Definitely coming here again!

Ps. You can also hike here from Sigulda through the forest trails as we did. The food tasted even better due to the hiking :).

5 stars for the food, atmosphere and service. Price relatively cheaper. Be careful if you are ordering trout. Its huge, enough for 3 people.

Highly recommended meals with good portion sizes and quality ingredients! Very tasty chicken breast fillet with toast vegetables - see photos! Definitely worth a return visit in future and a great option for those seeing Turaida Castle! Great choice of drinks to go with your meal.

It was a great find! The place is really nice and the food was great, but the best part was the personel - the chef was very communicative, friendly and helpful. We will be sure to comeback whenever we will be nearby again.

The building is a beautiful timber house and the staff are lovely and accommodating. The dishes are both sizeable and delicious.

Tried this restaurant one evening. Took mozzarella salad and frog legs (first time). Recommend both if them.
