Villa 95 Rangala

My partner and I came here for a late lunch after visiting nearby waterfalls on a hot day. From the moment we stepped foot on the premises we were taken great care of. Being shown to an intimate and very romantic table on the roof terrace where no one else was. With the most stunning views of knuckles mountain range. The guy who served us was very conscientious and had a really good vibe about him making my partner and I laugh while going out of his way to make us comfortable. We received refreshing juices, absolutely massive portions or tasty food (we ordered the small portion) and ice cold beers. Just what you need after a day of hiking and sightseeing. The place had a good vibe and must be a hit with the locals as a few guys were sat enjoying drinks in another bar near the carpark. If you go be sure to ask to sit on the roof terrace for the views. We just came for lunch but ended up staying til night time because of the setting, friendly staff and great prices. The chef was a really nice guy who couldn't do enough for us and delivered our food to the table. We only came to refuel but would for sure stay at this accommodation going off our experience. 👍🏼

Excellent hotel. Magnificent views on the mountain and the forest. Service is great. Calm place so relaxing. Would definitely recommend. Tea plantations all around. One of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka!

Amazing place! Beautiful room with stunning views across the mountains from your balcony. Rajeewa and his team are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to accommodate in any way you need. He has built a ‘secret bar’ with wonderful views for staying guests…. But also has a locals bar down by the car park….. which would highly recommend visiting too!…. Locals were so friendly, ended up singing and dancing with them while they sung Sri Lankan songs and playing drums…. Amazing night! Thanks Rajeewa, hope to see you again soon. 😊

Great staff, so friendly and helpful host, excellent location, amazing view. We couldn't leave that place. And food was excellent as well. Highly recommend;)
