Had a wonderful stay here. Wild glamping offers a comfortable camping experience in Knuckles. It is recommended to come early and take up a hike on one of the many trails accessible from the property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great even though the options were limited. They will generously offer more if you're up to it. Parata that was served for the breakfast was the best I've had from a long time. Road from the Thangappuwa town to the hotel's car park is in poor condition. Better to check early with the hotel and make arrangements.

Good Place if you like being disconnected from the outside world and be with nature. Friendly and very accommodating staff. You can park your vehicles closer to main road and use off road vehicle provided by hotel to reach the location

Rooms ( Tents ) have all necessary facilities for glamping experience. tents are located very close to each other so dont expect lot of privacy. Specially if you want some privacy opt for the tent in the far corner.

There are lot of activities you can do and its recommend to stay for at least two nights to fully enjoy the experience.

Great place to get away from the city life. No reception or wifi, so great to disconnect and relax. Electricity available for 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening, hot water available 24/7. Very cozy, clean big tents with wooden floors, proper bathrooms and a nice patio. Great hikes available with experienced guides at a decent price. Car park available close to the main road, then 4x4 shuttle on bumpy road. Very friendly staff.

Recommendations: Set up a space to hang out in the common area with a book shelf and some board games; extend vegetarian food options.

The staff was amazing and very helpful.
The views were unlike anywhere else, the mountains were covering the camp site and the mist came at night which made the stay even more memorable.
The food was really good, we had a full board 1 night stay and all 3 meals were amazing. They gave big portions and we were able to ask for more if needed. The BBQ for dinner was amazing.
The tents are a bit worn out but it was still luxurious. The bathroom was great and had hot water.
Having no connection to the outside world and not having power at night was one of the best experiences a couple or a family all together can experience.
The more you disconnect from the outside world the more you connect with the people you are with.

We had an incredible experience staying with Wild Glamping Knuckles. The scenery was amazing and the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. The food was great, and we had a brilliant time on the waterfall trek the following morning. The staff are kind enough to provide leech socks for the trek to ensure you are comfortable. We would highly recommend anyone includes this in their Sri Lanka itinerary.

We enjoyed a wonderful retreat at Wild Glamping Knuckles, spending 2 nights away from our bustling daily routine. Nestled in the Knuckles mountains, this place is a true treasure. The landscape is extraordinary, offering an exotic escape. A unique feature is the absence of mobile signal, cocooning us in a perfect sanctuary detached from the outside world.

The array of trekking options is impressive, and we embarked on the Higher Knuckles trek, an intense 8-hour journey that rewards with breathtaking vistas. The hotel's staff was incredibly welcoming. A special mention goes to Bhanuka, the attentive hotel manager, and Vignesh from the restaurant, who not only assisted us but also guided us through the village and to the nearby waterfalls. From the diligent gardener to the attentive restaurant team, every member was amiable and supportive, eager to fulfill our every need. Even when we had to switch rooms due to a water project, the staff handled it swiftly and efficiently.

Although the hotel offers a simple menu, we have no complaints as the food was delectable.
This destination is ideal for youthful couples seeking an escape from their hectic routines and relishing hiking and trekking.

Totally different experience. Living inside a test under the heavy mist and wind. Without electricity and connectivity.

The food was very good. Although options were limited. You can ask for tea anytime from the restaurant.
Each room is arranged as a tent. For me it is a totally different experience. They have a pickup location, where you can park your vehicle and they will take you from there. Let them know your timings and arrange your travelling before since there are no mobile signals at the location
The place is specialized for hiking and trecking. They have trained staff. So plan one. Also take a walk around. There is a nice waterfall and so many streams.

Unreal place to stay. The food was amazing, the team look after you very well and are really knowledgeable. Would pay for the jeep ride experience alone

What a beautiful place.. We spent our weekend at Wild Glamping Knuckles and felt that we are in another beautiful world with flora, fauna, wild animals and breathtaking waterfalls. We met nice people, talked with them, enjoyed the nature without any single disturbance from the modern technology. I’m glad that I was able to forget the whole busy life for a while. Food was delicious.. rooms are clean and very comfortable with the windy climate. Thank you so much Bhanuka and the team for your true Sri Lankan hospitality. Everyone should live there at least once.

From pick up til check out everything was just lovely. This remote area is a paradise for nature and trekking lovers. With the help of their friendly naturalist and hiking guide, you get to see a different, calm side of Sri Lanka and learn a lot about local flora, fauna and cultur and the staff is the friendliest. Perfect place for someone who loves nature and looking for a getaway from hectic life. Tents are surrounded by mesmerizing misty mountain range. Birds singing and the sound of water stream were soothing.

We spent one day at wild glamping knuckles. It was a superb stay. Everything was perfect. There was no power for most of the times, but it didn’t matter at least a bit. Misty weather, breathtaking views, sounds of birds and calmness made this a perfect getaway from busy schedules. And the staff, specially Sajith and Banuka were super friendly and nice and attended to all our needs without any delay. And finally food was superb given the difficulties they face with the distance.
Will definitely go back again for a prolong stay..👍👍👍

Highly recommended. Perfect mountain view from room tent with the sound of the water flow down the hill and the songs of birds. The is a natural pool within walking distance recommended for adults due the challenging path to rech the pool. But worth the effort for the sheer beauty of nature 👌

Had an amazing stay here. Beautiful place with hiking trails

Stayed there sometimes back and would love to say it was amazing experience. The location itself is very remote and perfect opportunity to disconnect from the rest of the world, as there was no network signal (we didn't complain!). Surrounded with lush vegetaion and misty mountains with stunning views all around this was the perfect getaway.

There were also hiking/nature trails (multiple) and depending on how long and how far you want to walk, you can decide/guide can be accompanied. Only downside is the constant hassel from the leeches, so make sure to be prepared (leech socks/spray etc)

Food was great too, and kudos to the staff to keeping for not compromising on the quality even though location was remote.

Rooms or tents rather were clean and well maintained, the setup really appeals to the general vibes of the surrounding vegetation.

Finally would love to say this was a great experience and staff/team deserves every credit to ensuring our stay was a memlrable one.

This place is a must! Pair it with a trek (there are options for all levels and distances from here). The best glamping experience we've ever had. The food was absolutely divine. I had read other reviews beforehand that said there wasn't enough food, but this is not true. They kept offering more and more! It was our favourite dinner and breakfast in Sri Lanka.
