Fantastic place - just off the city center. Lovely vibes and music. The staff are all attentive and courteous. Though not too many veg options - the Lump Rice they suggested to me was delicious. Good range of spirits and cocktails.

A wonderful and excellent restaurant with very friendly service. We spent 5 days in Ella and every day we visited this restaurant because it appealed to us right from the first visit. Tasty food that also looks beautiful and is at a relatively good price. I think a little more expensive for locals but just right for tourists. You can eat for about 3000LKR including excellent food and drink. We tried both pasta and Japanese cuisine and we can say that the owner knows what he is doing. It specializes in these two types of food and does it well. The menu does not contain millions of types of food, which is good because every dish is made with love and joy. I can't praise the staff enough (and especially Mr. Udara), who take an interest in you even before you enter the restaurant, offer you a place to sit, bring a beautifully made menu, and after a while of eating comes to ask you if everything is okay and if you like it 🥰 They do everything with a smile on their face and joy. After a few days, a few of them got to know us and chatted. The last evening we came to eat here and as a surprise we received a dessert on the company's account 💚 Which made us very happy and exactly all these things make a good impression on a person. When we return to Ella in a few days, we will definitely be happy to visit here again. We are very much looking forward to seeing all of you. Thank you

Atmospehere was lovely, staff was nice and friendly. The only thing that really bothered me was that I got a fairly lukewarm meal (not completely warm pasta with pesto and shrimps). We went here the next day and warned them about cold food. They were extremly nice and we got hot meals. Shrimp pasta had a lot of shrimps, I just loved it! Donburi Beef bowl. Amazing! Tapas were very tastey - tomato bruschetta (it has fresh basil) and baby roast potatos. Would highly recommend!! Oh and atmosphere was just lovely.

As a foodie & reviewer, I really love this restaurant and this deserves a 5 stars. It is a hidden restaurant which is like 500 meters away from the center in Ella-Passara Road and it is situated in a quiet area. This restaurant serves Japanese, Italian and Srilankan food which showcased good selections of food. They also serve Pork

The vibe inside were so good that it feels like you are in an expensive restaurant. The lighting, tables, layout are so aesthetically designed.

The food were so delicious and prepared beautifully. Same as how Japanese prepare their food. The servings were good and the staffs were so assisting. I told them that this restaurant should be at the center and deserves to be known as "one of the best restaurant here in Ella".

I strongly recommend this to everyone especially tourist to come and visit this restaurant. Will come back here more often while I am here.

We had a great experience here at AK Ristoro. Udara was exceptional, his service was 10/10! He is so kind and friendly! And the food, of course, was delicious! It’s a true fusion between Sri Lanka’s cuisine, with Italian and Japanese dishes. The bruschetta was perfect and the blue marlin was also really good! We will come back!

Great place to have dinner in Ella! We came here every night during our stay (4 nights in a row!) and enjoyed the pasta dishes a lot. The pasta Bolognese tastes delicious! Would definitely recommend this place :)

This is a must when visiting Ella!
Although it isn't in the center of Ella, it's located on the way to Little Adam's Peak and the 9 Arches Railway which is great for coming back from or going to.
The food was very good! We had the salad which for my taste was a lot of leafy greens and not a lot of the other fruits and vegetables mentioned. We also had the Karaage, and Bolognais (it was served Al Dente) which I highly recommend!
The service is good and the atmosphere is very delightful.

The restaurant is a bit further from the main Ella street restaurants but it's definitely worth coming! The atmosphere is cozy and lovely, they have fluffy blankets where the outside area is if you will get cold. We came on a rainy day and didn't have the umbrella so they gave us a towel to make ourselves a bit more dry ☺ the menu has quite few options for every taste! The way how food was served is more then perfect! Staff is very polite!

Found this great restaurant in Ella which exceeded our expectations in multiple folds with their food. We ordered Karage as an entree followed by Beef bowl and Beef burrito with a bottle of Shiraz. All 3 dishes were excellent. Ingredients of salad were fresh and had a local twist. Flavors were well balanced. Ambiance was great with open seating and staff were friendly and attentive. Totally recommend.

Excellent food. Great place to stop to change things up on a Sri Lankan vacation. Has to be one of the best in Ella. Definitely recommend this place! We had the Ratatouille, Mixed Salad, Pork Chops, Fish and Chips and Pasta Fungi. Awesome food and experience!

As real foodies (instagram: @foodylicious_t_m) we believe this is the best place to eat in Sri Lanka. Delicious pasta’s, bruschetta, burrito.. Also very friendly and chill staff. The restaurant it self has a very nice and loungy vibe. Price/quality = 10/10 . If we would live in Sri Lanka, we would sit here every day 😍

Very cosy place to go out for diner. Very short walk from the center to enjoy a more quit romantic diner. The food was delicious. We took the bruschetta’s as starter which I can recommend and pasta as main. Both our pasta’s were very good. Our waiter Jaysasri was very sweet and helpful. We had an amazing night here.

Everything is perfect, the place, the staff and especially the food. We had the bruschetta, sushi roll, fried chicken and the shrimp sizzling pot. All very tasty! It’s all affordable, not expensive, that’s great too.
