Dream Cafe Ella

I’m very satisfied with our visit. Server was very friendly. Had 3 pizzas, few sodas, coffee. Everything was tasty and prepared pretty fast, even though the place was almost full.

I tried the vegan pizza and it was pretty good! Obviously it’s not the best vegan pizza in the world, I always try to get local vegan food, but I wanted to try vegan cheese. It was probably cashew based. Pizza was really good and we paid a fair amount for everything.

Loved this restaurant and ate here several times during my stay in Ella. The staff was great and take great care of guests. Also the food was very good as well. Would 100% recommend!

We found the restaurant by accident after arriving in Ella and it was the best breakfast in Sri Lanka. Delicious cappuccino, vegan options, avocado toast. We tried another restaurant, but we came back here for dinner. The pizza doesn't disappoint either. The place looks empty and not very hipster, but it's worth it.

I normally avoid writing reviews, but the exceptional service we experienced from an employee at this restaurant deserves an honorable mention.I had the pleasure of being served by Ramesh and his service was truly outstanding. His courteous manner and attention to every request made my visit a particularly pleasant experience. Ramesh definitely stands out from the crowd.

Only visited for the restaurant and bar, great curry would highly recommend the beef massam. Has two pool table and a snooker table downstairs!

Sometimes you just walk into a place and think, “oh yeah, this place serves food. Mm, mm, mm. Maybe I’ll treat myself to a slice of cheese”.
That’s what this place was to me. A slice of cheese right when I needed it. I got the omelette and the vegetable wrap and I ate them both. It was so good

Great place to socialize, play some pool & billiards over drinks and make new friends. Very friendly vibe, good music, great setup.

Really good food, prices, ambience, games and most of all great service. Our personal favourite was Chandika, a really nice and atencious waiter who made our dinner even better. Thank you Chandika!

Ordered a cheese and tomato sandwich to go and it comes with potato wedges. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly. The prices are cheaper than other spots in Ella and they have a nice menu and vibe upstairs. More reviews @myra.recommends

Amazing, genuine Sri Lankan food at reasonable prices.
We ate here two nights in a row since it was so damn good.
And a bonus is that they accept credit card!
Hasanka our waiter was lovely and attentive, and after our appetiser of prawn cocktail served in a coconut, he offered to clean and cut open the coconut to enjoy for desert!
We were so happy with this idea!

I have tried several meals during my visit and the food taste was perfect. The waitress were so helpful and kind especially Umesh and Chandiga.
They accept card and cash payments, overall I recommend all to visit them during your stay in ELLA.

Visiting from North America. This place has wonderful food and drinks. The guys take really good care of you. Dharshana is awesome! Great server with a wonderful attitude. Our go to spot every evening to wind down our day in Ella. Definitely visit when visiting Ella!

One of well known restaurants in Ella town.
Mainly target on tourists during season. The menu is only for tourists. After April they do have a separate menu to cater locals as well, which is during off season. Met a genuine steward named Lalith Priyantha. We went there for breakfast and he gave us a great service as he knows what locals required. You may Look for him and guaranteed you will be well served. Management should do the best to empower those kind of people.

We hop on to this place while searching for a place to eat at Ella. This was the only place that we found with convenient parking facilities and facing the main road. The vehicle park could accommodate upto around 6 vehicles.
The ambiance was okay , a bit noisy as it is located at the roadside. We reached this place around 4 PM and it wasn’t busy at all.
The service was okay and provided a good service. We observed that they pay attention to requests by foreigners and are very responsive.
They have a range of food items and beverages to select. There we ordered 2 fruit juices, a club sandwich and a chicken wrap.
At first we received the drinks. The mango juice was not that tasty, but the Lemon juice was tasty. Then we received the large sandwich and chicken wrap. The portion was more than enough for 2 people. Those dishes came with a considerable amount of french fries. Also you can ask to pack and take away the remaining dishes.
I prefer this place for another visit because of the parking facilities, the portion of food and it’s taste. It is totally worth the price you pay.
