Tao Restaurant Marawila

Tao is the one of the best seafood restaurant in this area. Their Tao special rice and Thai seafood noodles are my favorite dishes.They provide very prompt service and have a very efficient staff. Highly Recommend for seafood lovers! ♥✌

Place with great variety of tasty food in a calm environment with sea breeze. Their food is simply exceptional. You ask them for anything and they will make it better than you’ve thought of it. Thai prawns and belly pork was delicious.

Best cook around. Never had such a tasty fish in Sri Lanka. Just ask for the catch of the day and they will recommend you something nice. They also have curry and other traditional stuff. You will find locals and tourists in this restaurant and all of them look happy and they are enjoying their food :) the prices on the menu our outdated (prices went up) so I recommend you to just ask for the menu of the day. We payed 3000 for a huge fish of the day which was big enough for 2 or 3 people 👌

A slient and charming place with big delicious Sea foods portion list. Good customer service and good ownership.
we enjoyed our dinner with various sea food varities and others.
Have clean and good wash rooms, drinking water, parking also.
No bar permit and if you want to drink, you should bring Beers from out side.

Place was very calm and there were seperate summer huts for dine and boose. We tried fried fillet and kochchi beef ( something tastes hot) both dishes were delicious and fresh. Also this place is a BYOB restaurant.

Restaurant TAO Offered varsity of Sri Lankan cooking,Thai cooking,Chinese and Western Cooking, or tailor made to your request from pasta to curry. They make your own dishes according to your taste. Highly recommended restaurant in Marawila

Love love the food .. it’s a hidden gem, went to dine with family.the owner got the best customer service skills , good staff and the food is just divine! Recommended tao to anyone without hesitation.. and we will go back for sure!

Kitchen closes at 11pm. But we were allowed to still till early hours.

Dropped here for lunch. Amazing food and customer service. The food is not so spicy. No good view of the sea. It can hold only a small amount of crowd (around 50 packs maybe).
