This is a lovely family business with the ever smiling, hard-working and charming Dylan at the forefront of providing all you need for a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful views across the rice fields by day and, perhaps, the odd mischievous elephant at night. Absolute top marks for the whole family who are attentive to all your needs. The kitchen staff deliver delicious food across the day and the meals really are wonderfully presented. Could not ask for more, the whole arrangement, the family, and the staff are just full of genuine character.

If you are coming for a National Park tour, then Dylan is superb at delivering a complete package to suit whatever your needs maybe. I must just add real extra praise for his hard-work, and non-stop consideration during our stay. He really is an outstanding host and business manager; you’ll struggle to meet better.

Top-end rooms offer more space and comfort [there will be additional rooms soon] but all rooms come with the kind attention of your hosts. There are a couple of bikes for a pedal to the lakes, hike across the paddy fields, or take the dirt roads into a very rural surround. Confucius says; the wise carry a big stick along dirt roads filled with territorial dogs. Highly recommended!

We booked a safari package which was perfectly organized! Dylan and his family are very welcoming and they have created a lovely place. They provide delicious dinner, a huge breakfast/ lunchbox with plenty of drinks & snacks for the safari and binoculars for spotting the animals. Our room was basic and clean. The only thing was the bed which might be a bit short for huge people. We can definitely recommend the safari package at Dylan's!

We stayed here for 2 nights and booked the complete package with full day safari included. The host was super friendly and everything was arranged very well. A lot of (good) food was included in the price. The room was very clean and spacious with a nice view. The surrounding area is beautiful. Overall amazing experience!

It was fantastic unforgettable trip to Wilpattu national park and safari with staying at this amazing tranquil place - Wilpattu Green Sapphire resort!
The owner Dylan is a very responsible and super kind person, he is wonderful manager and the accommodation is so nice and calming.
During our stay we were very well equipped for safari, including food and a very good driver, who guided us across all hidden places there.
We were lucky to saw so many animals and 5 leopards here too.

We did the arrangement with a full Day safari with 2 nights and meals also were included. We had a great time. The safari was fun, the guide took time to find animals. The room was good only the shower had not much pressure.
But most important the host (Dylan) arranged everything so good and was really friendly. He take care for you.

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful homestay which is close to the National Park. Dylan and family are great hosts making you feel very welcome. Food is plentiful, locally sourced and delicious. It's served at communal tables which gives a great opportunity to chat to fellow travellers. We arranged a full day safari through Dylan and he provided tea/ coffee at 5:30 am before we left as well as a huge breakfast and lunchbox with plenty of drinks & snacks. He also provided binoculars and a monoscope with a mobile phone fitting. Everything was so well organised. Breakfast next morning with a view over the rice field was so peaceful and it was great to be able to see so many birds all around.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Dylan is a great host and tries to make everything possible. Fresh fruits from the market or milk from the local farmer. The rooms are clean and breakfast & dinner are amazing. I’ve even received a welcome drink on arrival! Dylan also organized a safari for me - at a fair price and with an experienced tracker. I would definitely recommend this stay anybody who plans on exploring Wilpattu National Park or the surrounding area! A true Sri Lankan gem!

We spent 2 nights and my partner and I had a beautiful time there. Dylan is very kind and helpful, room were great and so was the food included in our package for the safari.
Organization for the safari day is perfectly taken care of ! Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit WNP and wanting to spend a peaceful stay in these stunning surroundings.

Amazing value and quality. There was a proper ‘safari lodge’ vibe here with communal meals and everyone gathering to chat about their safari experience and travels in Sri Lanka.

Dylan was always there to help and the place was spotless. So many next level things going on in terms of hygiene.

We found our room could have benefitted from an exhaust fan in the bathroom. It was a bit stuffy as it was raining but that is really hard to avoid in the tropics: it was clean and functional.

We saw everything but elephants on our safari and our driver Dinesh worked so hard all day to find animals gif us.

Everything was very good, the rooms are very comfortable and with air conditioning, the setting is beautiful surrounded by nature. The meals included were all very good and very filling. I did a day safari, the Jeep was comfortable, we were able to see everything we wanted to see. I would say a guide in addition to the driver would still be a plus because the driver can't be as attentive to the animals as he is driving. The owner is very nice.

Nice place to stay if you want to go on safari. The package deals from Dylan are nice. The diner is basic but nice you get to eat with everyone staying at the guesthouse. Safari food package is a luxurious box with breakfast, lunch, snacks, fruit and drinks.

Straight up the best experience in Sri Lanka. Very comfortable — waking up to birds flying around in the rice field surrounding Dylan‘s house is unforgettable. Dylan is a smart businessman, the all inclusive package he offers is very competitive and once you are there, there’s no hassle at all. Dinner is delicious and generous; if you get the rice, the rice from Dylan‘s field is some of the best rice I have seen (I even wondered what would it be like to brew it into a sake)

We had a great stay. The rooms are very comfortable, modern and very clean. Dylan, the owner, is so welcoming and friendly. He also organised a great safari for us. Dinner is served outside and cooked fresh and is very tasty!

Nice place and very clean rooms, can organise safari cheaper than anywhere else we found with lunch and snacks, we saw bears, a leapord, crocodiles and an elephant. Free bike rental to see the local area and very very tasty dinner with ample amounts to share. Thankyou Dylan and chef *****

We were welcomed by Dilan during our stay here. He made sure we got everything we needed and ensured we had the best safari jeep to visit the Wilpattu National Park. His hotel is very close to the national park which was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The stay also provides transport in case you need it with their van. We were really happy to visit. Definitely recommend!

Our Host has been the most helpful, he took everything in charge for our safari, we had absolutely nothing to do except getting up on time and enjoy our day ! Dylan was so kind and had constant smile on his face. The place itself is amazing, quite, beautiful and surrounding by rice fields. The room was equipped with aircon, we had hot water (rare thing in Sri lanka) and everything was really clean.
In a word, our stay was Great !
P.s : there is also 2 lakes near the resort which definitely worth a visite at sunset !

Dylan received us, he is an amazing attentive host. The place is really closed to the Wilpattu national park, giving a great wild atmosphere to the hotel. He made sure we had everything we needed for the safari (breakfast and lunch) a great 4wd, and good spotter for the safari. We finished the day having an a authentic tasty dinner and great conversation with Dylan.
