I love this store so much. It has almost everything. The many floors and mezzanines are confusing at first, but there are signs to let you know what you can find and where to go. We practically spent the whole day there. The space is spacious, you can relax while browsing, there is also a coffee corner where you can grab a cup of warm coffee or cold drink. There are toilets inside and duty free refund counters (basement, if I remember correctly)

In Tokyo, you can claim tax refund for purchase of 5500Yen (for tourists) or above, and most of time, the refund counter is conveniently located at the shop as well, like Tokyu Hands. Show them your passport and goods, no hassle at all.

You can find all sort of stationery, art and craft, even pet supplies.

A huge "DIY" themed store with a unique floor structure - a lot of interconnected "mini-floors". The store also sells a lot of cool stuff for the house, the kitchen and for hobbyists.
Hands down my favorite store in Shibuya
(Pun intended)

I came here specifically for hair salon scissors. I'm pretty ignorant in this field. And I later found a store that sold them for hundreds of USD.
But, on my quest for those scissors I was recommended here. I climbed to the third floor for my search, but on these floors I saw a lot of useful items a local or a traveler might need. Hair products and makeup, massage rollers, bicycles, suitcases. This store had a lot to offer. Just for my search, not what I was looking for.
Still, the store is impressive and clean. The staff were all super helpful assisting me to the correct location in store.

Bought a few things here, floors are weirdly set up (they are like half floor on half levels). Pretty has everything we were after.

Had to ask staff for a few things sometimes and they were quite helpful. Cashiers are only on certain floors and they were quite happy and polite.

Great place to spend an hour or two if you understand the slightly confusing layout of the building (each floor has an A, B, C section and there are 7 floors

Merchandise include outdoor items to kitchen goods and everything in between

Crazy store of each and everything. You get stroller and bags for your DOGs, a great selection of beer from all over the world, creative supplies, all tools needed to get oxygen into your wine and a nice cafe to spend your time waiting for each other. And while going up and down, you can see how many calories you are burning.

One of the biggest variety store you can find in Tokyo 🗼. If you need something and you don't know where you can find it. It is probably a good idea to visit this store and see if they sell it. You can find outdoor equipment, DIY, arts and crafts supplies, decorations, pet supplies and many more things here. Pretty good store 👍

Everything you could want and more for bits and pieces to make living more comfortable. I could spend hours here just seeing the different assortment of items. Hobby Lobby + small Home Depot and Lowe’s.

Very interesting store where you can find from arts and craft, cooking ware, electronics to kickass Japanese knifes. We were able to do tax free shopping which was a plus

Wonderfully curated selection of goods. Think of it as a Don Quixote with better taste (and higher prices). Lots of crafts, art supplies, beautiful selection of notebooks and stationary, travel accessories, and more.

A really nice huge shopping center with high quality items and decent prices. A nice stop to get gifts and goodies to spoil yourself. If you are a foreigner you can enjoy an additional 5% discount with the attached code in photos on top of the 8% tax refund

This Tokyu Hands seems to have everything. It's got many floors, and many floors inbetween those floors (it'll make sense when you visit ;)).
I waa specifically looking for jewelry supplies and shin-urushi, the latter for kintsugi and similar crafts. This is the only Tokyu Hands where I actually found some.

A great place to get stuff you never knew existed.. or just kill some time Ina rainy/too sunny day. The steps with the calorie count makes me laugh. The science section makes me spend money.... Way too much. Everything you can imagine ( ok, maybe not that you'll have to go to Roppongi for that) is for sale here...

Still a great place to spend a day

The biggest Tokyu hands I’ve been to, you can buy literally anything you’d like here.

Each floor is divided into A, B, C section kinda like a zigzag structure and I think that was very smart of them in terms of space using. It could take you aback a bit to navigate all sections but you’ll get there, they’re all next to each other after all.

This place is a haven for stationery, arts and craft. You can also get all sorts of high quality gifts or souvenirs. The whole building is so huge that they have sub-sections for different categories of items. Also, the tax-free refund counter is at the 1st floor, which is named B2C

Amazing, multi - storey department store. If you're interested in getting lost, this is really good place for that.

It has 7-8 levels and each level has A, B an C areas spiralling upwards and having various gadgets, DIY - products, accessories and basically everything you didn't even think about.

I couldn't help noticing that quite a few imported brands cost 2-3-times more than in Europe, so I would focus on Japanese brands or products.

Worth a visit if you have plenty of free time

It’s like a heaven for DIY lovers. You can find pretty much anything to make your projects.
You just have to watch out not to spend a fortune there (thanks to my boyfriend for restraining me ^^)

This store is fantastic - great selection, helpful staff, and well organized stock. It is pen heaven - peaven as I like to say. Plenty of refills and a very knowledgeable staff. They have all the tchotchkes you could want, and many you didn't know you needed. They are great for hobbyists. Dept stores can be a bit frenetic, but Tokyo hands has good focus and appropriate merchandising.
