Amazing shop! Staff was really nice and helpful, speaking English too! So many different types of chopsticks! You can also engrave them! If you want to get a good quality chopsticks you should definitely visit this store! ☺

If you want a chopstick this is the only place you will need to visit. From your daily use chopsticks to fancy ones for gifting or super expensive ones for collections, this place has got it all. It also has things that come with chopsticks like stones. Master craftsmanship and excellent designs. There’s a lot of variety.

A little store that deserves more visibility on Google Maps, because it's simply extraordinary.

The welcome is very warm. We are given time to admire the chopsticks in the store, and if necessary, we can be guided by the manager.

I was looking for a special gift for someone, and we were accompanied from the selection of chopsticks to the choice of box and accompanying set.

Incredible attention ! The place is beautiful. It’s a tiny shop, but full of art. They have a variety of prices for everyone, and you could get a beautiful set that you probably would like to hang on the wall instead of using. I really recommend going there and taking a look.

Cute little shop with a great selection of quality chop sticks. Was really quick and easy to get a couple chop sticks engraved for gifts. Definitely recommend this shop and will be returning if I ever need more.

super easy to translate my name,
They do same day engraving as well as other options which take longer.
I opted for the same day and got my chop sticks in 30 minutes, I was showing them before they were packaged beautifully.

Bought two pairs as a wedding gift, the staff were extremely pleasant to work with. They helped us choose engraving, wrapping, box, etc! Highly recommend this place for good selection of chopsticks and gifts.

Wonderful little chopstick shop with very friendly staff. They have a wide selection of chopsticks with beautiful designs and in price ranges from low (10,000-30,000 Yen, or about $10-$30) to very special ones worth hundreds of dollars. Perfect place for a personalized gift as they do engraving on site for a minor extra cost, takes less than 10 minutes. They place them in a lovely wooden gift box and gift bag for that extra touch.

For foreigners: the sales lady I dealt with knew English very well so you should be fine knowing little or no Japanese. Last thing, certain designs may interfere with engraving placement, so ask them where they will engrave it first to make sure it is to your satisfaction.

The store owner was very wholesome and nice. She explained a lot about the japanese chopstick culture and helped us a lot deciding what to get. Overall a very good experience and a good recommendation for foreigners, who want to get japanese chopsticks.

New location - exit 2 from Hiroo station. Turn R out of station and R again at wine store on corner. Take first alley to R. It will be on your left with ほんぼう/HONBO on a sidewalk sign outside. Shop not as fancy as prior but still beautiful selection of chopsticks and other assorted related items. Great service, as always
