This place is actually kind of a must if you're staying at either the Royal Park or Tokyo Park hotels. We knew from enough YouTube reviews that Japanese conbini (convenience stores) were worth a visit but this one was special because of the range of foods, the quality, taste and value. If you're new to Japan this place is a great primer for some of the best handy Japanese snack foods that are usually sold both in mass produced form in conbini and in more artisanal forums in standalone stores.

In the heated sections, canned hot coffee (get used to coffee only being percolated in Tokyo as there are very few espresso machines), hot Bento meals such as Tonkatsu

In the fridge section, microwave ramen selections that are heated up by the attendant on purchase (ask to be heated up) - which have absolutely no right to be as delicious as they are (remember to remove the heat proof liner keeping your noodles from getting soft before eating),

Also a multitude of varieties of nigiri (get salmon and tuna if you're unsure, then experiment with others like salted plum and more exciting flavours) the Nori thanks to some elaborate packaging which I can never seem to get right opening, is crispy and delicious

Sandwiches again, have no right to be this easy and delicious to eat, but the mayonnaise, soft white crustless bread and assorted fillings are unreasonably compelling. Shrimp and broccoli ones are quickly snatched up as a favourite.

Smaller refrigerated shelves house cream puffs, shiratama dango mochi with red bean paste and cream dessert, and souffle custard and caramel sauce dessert that has no equal.

There is also a warming oven at the front counter filled with a garden of deep fried delights. Fami chickie being one of them and judging by the polarised reviews is either your jam or something to be avoided at all costs. Personally it was delicious, but western tastes may prefer a more dry, more shoe-leather consistency in cooked chicken meat which may explain the poorer ratings.

Again this is a convenience store. So with that expectation, go into it with an open mind and you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much it actually offers.

Best times to visit would be before the morning and evening rush hours as the shelves are very quickly emptied due to high foot traffic but pretty much get fully restocked two hours after.

Overall the service has been consistently friendly and patient with non Japanese speaking customers. They'll ask if you need a bag, and also offer to heat up food that requires it.

Politeness counts in Japanese society. So don't forget your manners along with your small change and you'll have the best of times on your conbini food safari/rampage. I know we did.

When I visited Tokyo last time, It was mid August... It was freakin' hot at that moment.
Another convenience store which is near to this one wasn't supported with LINE Pay.

Closest convenience store if you’re staying at the Royal Park Shiodome Hotel. Not entirely obvious how to find it. Take the elevator to B1, walk toward the FedEx / Tower Records, turn right. (Left to the train station).

found the ATM located in store able to accept my foreign (non-Japanese) card.

A mainstay while we were in Tokyo. Cheap, convenient, and great food.
