Towadako Marineblue

Had wanted to visit this cafe when I first came to Lake Towada in winter 2018 but they were closed. This time in summer July 2023 finally tasted their famous Aomori chunky apple pie and it is really delicious and the pastry crust is buttery & flaky. The cafe has limited indoor seats but we were able to sit outside and enjoy the windy afternoon. The apple sherbet portion is too small and very sweet. Iced coffee is refreshing.

This cafe is very cute and has a great view of the lake. The cafe is pretty small but it's cozy. They serve coffee, curry, and pie. I wish they had a vegetarian curry option. They have an apple curry since Aomori is known for their apples but it contains beef. I did get the apple pie though and it was delicious. It was soft and light, nice and warm. It paired perfectly with the coffee. If you're planning to visit Lake Towada, you've definitely gotta stop by here.

Very nice cafe by the lake, great ambience and plenty places to sit outside - if it’s not cold and chilly, which it was when we visited. Simple coffee/tea and ‘famous apple pie’.

Visited Towada Lake with Akita Inaka School, and Sayaka recommended this place’s apple pie!

The apple pie was truly with recommending! Apple meat was on the crunchy side, which gave the whole apple pie a very pleasant texture. The crust was flaky (similar to a croissant). It was just the right amount of sweetness for me!!

It was 550 yen per pie (if I remembered correctly)!

I had it with warm milk, which was 450 yen (if I remember correctly).

beautiful cafe right by lake towada, main food are only curry rice and we had apple curry which is bits of beef with potato in grated apple. for more meat content choose beef curry! it has the same price

got myself their blended tea which is dark red tea. delicious.

apple pie was sold out at 330pm
however this was golden week!

The Coffee shop next to the lake which really good location for those people who love to take pictures like us.

We stop on our way for breakfast, we had coffee and some apple pie.
Great coffee and an amazing piece of pie!
The atmosphere inside is adorable with soft jazz music.
You can also seat outside and even rent a swan peddle boat for the lake.
This is a lovely place and highly recommended to stop by for some pie.

On our trip to Lake Towada we stopped by here several times to sit either inside or outside to enjoy the beautiful view. Even after the cafe closes, you can sit outside and relax. The coffee was good and it was usually the first place to open and the last to close!

Lovely little coffee shop by the water! The apple pie was good and so was my hot cocoa will definitely be coming back again!

Stopped here fro a quick break on my trip to Towada lake. They were unfortunately sold out of apple pie so I just had coffee.

They don't have it on the menu but my girlfriend wanted cappuccino but they didn't have it so they offered us latte.

Dogs are allowed in the terrace seats.

The Apple Pie is absolutely amazing. Loaded with fruit with the right amount of sweetness and consistency. Golden light pastry. Enjoyable with a good strong coffee and beautiful setting at the lake.

Exceptional and stunning view and atmosphere as it's on the shore of lake Towada. Coffee was great too.. Not the typically bitter dark roast but a smooth tasting beverage. Friendly and courteous service as well!

Awesome!.. The best apple pie I've ever had (so good, I had a second one the very next day)! The Apple curry is also something you have to try! 😊

Delicious apple pie with nice view

Beautiful view, tasty pie, cozy place. Drinks (coffee and tea) were not good-small portion and not tasty for its price.

Honestly, we didnt get the chance to drink here because it was closed. So we just took some pictures of the place from the outside. The view was really nice. I think its more cool if youre looking at the view while drinking their best seller coffee. We'll be back here again. That's for sure.
