This bookstore is one of the largest, cutest, and most enjoyable places I've ever visited. The bookstore even has a coffee shop where you can sit and soak in the ambiance. We purchased a few pop-up books, even though they were in Japanese—we couldn't resist! Spending over 55,000 yen allows you to get tax-free shopping. Definitely a must-visit!

Well designed compound that houses several coffee shops and bakeries. They have an event space that regularly hosts fun and interesting activities.
It was Happy dog day during my visit and it was an absolute blast sitting down by the cafe watching dogs go by.
The bookstore itself is beautiful and sprawls across two levels, it's a delight to visit and get immersed and lost amongst the trove of books.
The trees in the compound look beautiful and lavish in Autumn, taking on a wide shade of colors.

This is not just a book store, this is an institution. The book store are spread into 3 buildings (first floor) and there are various niche books and stationary you can buy. Ok the second level, there are cafe and lounges (paid hourly, which give you unlimited snack, comfy seatings, and excellent space to study or business meetings).

What a wonderful book store laid out across 3 buildings. So many book sections in several languages. It definitely deserves a visit. The neighbourhood is so upscale and trendy!

Beautifully designed book store across 3 buildings.

The merchandise and layout is lovely and there are great shared spaces. There's a work space with snacks and coffee availability -- great place to study or work.

The second floor of the middle building is a gorgeous lounge with a striking bar built out of books. Didn't eat there but the cakes looked scrumptious.

Best bookstore in the world (?) all my niche hobbies have beautiful books about them in the first floor (in japanese). Stationary area is filled with artpieces that you can buy and use in daily life. Th nicest things. Super nice second floor with a lounge and a super tranquil lunch restaurant where I did some focused reading while eating bolognaise and had a coffee. Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures, because I was so in the zone.

Nicely designed with cafe and souvenir stores on the first floor. There’s a share lounge (co-working space) on the second floor where you can book by hour or day. Can easily spend a whole day there :)

Wonderful store & one of my favorite places to work! They have an upstairs area with a generous seating area. Servers come to your table and you can order food, coffee, or dessert. The Wi-Fi unfortunately is not free and you will have to pay for it - I think it was around ¥500 for 24 hours. It’s a great place with great aesthetics. Family friendly and would definitely show my friends this place!

A really nice and stylish book store! It even has nice places to sit down, relax, and read. There are all sorts of books from classical English literature to car magazines. The Starbucks is a big plus too!

I LOVE the overall atmosphere of this bookstore! They offer so many outdoor seats for people to chill. And they also have a lounge bar on the second floor that opens to a later time where you can chill with your friends on a cozy sofa and a dim light.

The selection of books is also quite numerous. I'll definitely come back here.

Probably one of the best bookstores on earth, of coz most of the books are in Japanese so in case you don't know the language, you can still chill a bit in the bar where displaying some historical fashion magazines. The architecture of the building is extraordinary too. Love to be there in the evening, nice and quiet.

An art and architecture marvel where a heavenly bond among various arts, books and cafés is made. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy reading, or having coffee. Three two-story buildings are connected, where various books on many different subjects are nicely displaced in an elegant manner. There are also dedicated sections to music CDs and movie DVDs, stationary and cultural goods. You won't regret visiting this place!

One of those book stores you can get happily lost in. So much selection, plenty of cosy seating and snack/coffee bars to enjoy reading and browsing from. Has a library feel to it, very modern and a pleasant place to find what you're looking to buy or spend time reading with something to eat and drink.

Found some rare art books here. A heaven for design/architecture/art book lovers. We stayed here for 3 hours just browsing hard covers and magazines. Has a coffee shop/grocery store for you to snack while reading. Outdoor seating is available as well

One of the best bookstores/cafe in the world. By having the most expensive hot drink (10 euros for a hot chocolate) you can enjoy one of the finest places in tokyo

Super trendy book shop, has a section for everyone, plus host to the Morning Cruise which has themed meets! Automotive section always has a different display to suit all tastes.

There is a Starbucks in house if you want a coffee while you sit and ready your latest purchase.

Be sure to check their socials for events as not to miss out!

We make a point to visit every time we are in Japan and always walk away either something.
