Great exhibition! Friendly staff, efficient workers, clean facilities!

Word of caution to travelers. Try to book tickets in advance before you enter (maybe like a week before). When we went to the Sailor moon exhibit (the last day of the exhibit) they didn't accept buying tickets in person and because of that we almost didnt get to see it. Other exhibits could be different but buying in advance you get a discount and get to enter quicker.

We didn't eat at the Cafe but there was a long line so be prepared to a wait!

I came here to see the sailor Moon museum. Has a long time fan this was like a dream come true. There was so much attention to detail and I enjoyed every single bit of the museum. They had life-size replicas of the weapons, merchandise throughout the years, the costumes from live action and the plays. The gift shop was pretty cool as well. Showing my friends a lot of the stuff when I got back to America had them extremely jealous which honestly I totally understand if I hadn't gotten to go and just all photos myself. I would definitely recommend going if it's still available.

I went there for the Sailor Moon museum exhibition, and it was everything a 36y.o. Little girl could dream of. Very reasonable price for the size and popularity of the exhibition. Very busy (as always in Japan) although well organised and never crowded. I would definitely recommend booking tickets in advance, which is conveniently possible in Japanese, English and, I think, Chinese, payments can be done by credit card, alipay, wechat etc. Very gaining tourist friendly!
Oh! And I loved the Sailor Moon café at the end!

It was a nostalgic wonderful experience! Well organized (buy tickets in advance) and not overly crowded. Some of the merchandise is overpriced but still a great find for those not able to go anywhere else. The artwork and illustrations are beautiful, felt like I walked into my childhood dream. I even teared up. Congratulations on 30 Years!

I’ll be honest…if there’s a museum that has an 80’s or 90’s anime related event then chances are I’m gonna try and check it out. I found out about the Sailor Moon Museum while I was at the Roppongi station. Now while I might not have been a big fan of the series. I can definitely appreciate the impact it’s had on the world of anime. This place had everything that I’d want to see. Tons of photos, props, and designs from the multiple Sailor Moon tv shows and movies. If the Roppongi Musuem ever has a Hokuto no Ken or Urusei Yatsura event I’ll be there.

Went to go to the Sailor Moon Museum with family. It was super cool to see, even if I’m not a big fan. The entire place was gorgeous and the staff were accommodating (and most could speak good English).

I especially loved how they themed the entire building with Sailor Moon stuff (the bathroom signs for example). They seem to really put in the care to make the museum as immersive as possible!

Visiting the Sailor Moon Museum was an experience of a lifetime for a true “Moonhead” such as myself! Great opportunity to see exclusive never seen before artwork and to see the largest collection of Sailor Moon toys ever!

Visited for the Sailor Moon exhibition. I'm not accustomed to securing advanced timed ticket slots to exhibitions as a visitor to Japan - but I went right at 10am opening to see if I could buy ticket at window. The staff was professional and with some back and forth I was allowed to enter and purchase a ticket at the front desk. Pretty nice staging and flow of the exhibition. The second two rooms were mostly digitally printed mounted graphics and were engaging to look at - if a bit lacking in authenticity. The room archive of licensed products was really great to see - as was the selection of original artwork on display. Would have liked to have seen more animation cels and or original storyboard drawings. Overall very nice production value and a good variety of graphics and artwork to look at. Gift shop assortment was not as sophisticated in quality, diversity or range for my taste - but perhaps I am not the target audience in that regard. The coolest item for retail were these made-to-order custom bomber jackets in Navy and White that had a lot of considered design detail and offered something unique. The basic "Exhibition Tee" was poorly designed and poorly printed as Direct To Garment - on a lightweight GSM tee. Not worth the asking price. Beautiful merchandising and retail shopfit through. I didn't visit the Cafe. Overall it was a really unique experience and it was inspirational to see the world and characters that Naoko Takeuchi has created. Great way to spend a morning.

A nice simple space for museum-like collaborations and goods shops/cafe. I went for the type Moon 15th anniversary fate exhibit: photos were not really allowed so I only have the outside and the entryway added. Sailor Moon took over in 2022 and its been a goods cavalcade.

Visited the museum for the 15th anniv of fate. Pictures can't be taken inside on certain parts but in the souvenir shop the staff accommodated me and allowed me to capture the goods via video call so I can let my brother choose, since he couldn't come to Japan due to corona
