One of the most beautiful art supplies stores I have ever been to.
Such a beautiful pigments and many brushes to choose from.
The staff were very nice and willing to help and answer all the questions that I had.
It's a bit far, but I highly recommend it if you love the art supplies.

A visually stunning store. A wonderful place for anyone interested in watercolors or ink painting. You can also purchase quite an vast collection of powdered pigments to make your own paints (oil or acrylic). They carry a variety of bamboo papers for artwork, and Japanese paint brushes. Both times I have been able to visit the staff have been very friendly and helpful even though there was some language difficulties since my Japanese is not great. But they were still so friendly.

My favorite art store in Japan. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Such quality supplies. I wish I had one near me, but they do have an online store.

Pigments sold in 15 gram increments in a range of prices--high to low. The pallet is broad, as are sources of pigments. Brushes for a variety of purposes in a range of sizes are on display. Specialty papers are also available. Pigment Tokyo is an artist's delight. Nearby is a museum of related interest. Take the Monorail one stop from Hamamatsu Eki and use the sky walk to the shop--5-10 minutes.

Wonderful place for artist and art lovers.

However, i don't think ameteurs would buy anything there. And also no souvenirs too. (if you expect things like notebooks, stickers, or other stationary)

Things sales here mainly focus around japanese paintings (pigments, mediums, tools, paper/fabric)

They have worldwide delivery in their website.

Location: Quiet far from city center. Took almost an hour to get there.
Not too far from Odaiba, so for travellers you should plan your visit ahead.
Close on Monday.

Staffs could speak English quiet fluently. But have some language limitation, so they seem to explain less to us in English.

Have foreigner option of tax free for over 5000 yen purchase.

Pigment Tokyo: Where art meets wizardry! With 4,500 pigments that could make a rainbow blush and ink sticks older than your Wi-Fi password, this place is a color party. It's like Hogwarts for artists, blending ancient vibes with modern flair. Come for the paints, stay for the nostalgia – because some of their ink sticks are celebrating a 30-year streak! If you're in Tokyo and want to unleash your inner art sorcerer, Pigment Tokyo is your funky color lab.

This incredible shop is more than just a place to buy pigments and brushes. It's a place to intimately experience culture and take a moment to slow down for them busy Tokyo.

Very kind and educated staff will help you navigate the store. There's lots of things to see and try out so be prepared to spend a bit of time here.

Notice entrance is along a small barrier. Toilets are not in the store but in the same building - entrance to the left of the store.

It took me about an hour to get to the shop but it’s so worth it!
Never seen those pigments which were set out aesthetically pleasing. It’s spectacular!
In addition, they display all the Japanese paintings tools and materials, which helps people get to be familiar with Japanese arts🥰

As expected of an interior by the famous Kengo Kuma, so aesthetic and very pleasing to the eyes.

The store was so beautiful to visit. The architecture and interior made this art store stand out so much more. The wall of pigments was unique to me and so lovely to look at.

If you're in the neighborhood and into art+design, I think dropping by this store would be an enjoyable experience.

The shop also sold mini art kits to paint different flowers like irises, camellias, peonies, and other floras that seemed great for beginners.

Omg I love this place ♡ they are not for cheap shopping, but well worth the visit to stock up on some awesome goodies. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much 15mg are. Definitely a must visit if you love colour, art, and paint.

If you have an interest in colours, pigments, brushes and all things to do with painting then this store is definitely worth visiting. The range of pigment/colours available is astonishing. Also the displays and the information related to the pigments themselves is really interesting. The store holds workshops covering a wide number of skills/levels/topics. like everything else in Japan, the design and layout of the displays is a work of art in of itself.

The most beautiful shop in Tokyo. Staff speak English and are very helpful - you have the opportunity to try out some of the colours and brushes before purchasing. A must do for any artists or art-lovers.

After the morning shopping at Pigment we went across the road to the waterfront where there are some beautiful cafes (Breadworks/Lily cakes) perfect to spend the afternoon and make a day of it.
