Really awesome place and experience. There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The shibuya scramble and the statue of the dog are a sight to see. The train station is also very close, and there are plenty of entertainment in the area!

Anchored by its namesake statue and conveniently located adjacent to JR Shibuya Station, Hachiko Square (aka, Hachiko Plaza) is one of Tokyo’s busiest, most popular rendezvous spots.

One of Tokyo’s most spacious public spaces, this square quickly becomes packed with people waiting to meet up before a day or night of shopping, dining, bar hopping, clubbing, or just hanging out.

Throughout each day, but especially so during the evening hours, the bigger than huge video display that fills the face of Q FRONT Shibuya provides plenty of entertainment and information while you wait.

Though most people prefer to stand, unlike most public spaces in Tokyo, there are actually lots of places to take a load off here.

There’re usually lots of people in a good mood here, so also unlike most places in Tokyo, it’s pretty easy to strike up impromptu conversations with complete strangers, especially after dark.

More recently, the square has become a popular place for would-be social media superstars to solicit new followers or young musicians to advertise upcoming gigs.

It's the scramble! You'll find the Hachikō Landmark here, and the famous intersection of Sibuya Crossing. Great area for exploration of shops and places to eat. The iconic Starbucks is still here as well.

One of most visited tourist spot in Shibuya. It's near Shibuya Station and many people takes photo together with the Hachiko dog statue.

I really like the adoration and respect they have for hachiko. The statue is located outside of Shibuya station.

✅Must see if you've watched the movie or know the story. (It's really sad when you think about how this must have played out given the popularity of the station with commuters and travellers).
✅Love the orderly queue for pics! 🤗❤
❌So busy here you get lost easily, so use Google maps

Must stop photo spot at shibuya! Right at the edge of shibuya crossing. Go at morning to avoid crowed.

This is quite the place to wait for people in Shibuya, although I reccomend waiting for your friends or date outside the Tsutaya bookshop across the street because the Hachiko statue has too many nampashi approaching girls left and right.

Also too many tourists standing and taking photos of the hachiko statue it's quite annoying and hectic here, wasn't like that during covid when the tourists were barred from entering the country.

This dog is the one that inspired the Futurama episodes about seemore which waited for Fry to come back but the doodly doo dad was frozen and awoke in the year 3000 lmao. Anyway Futurama is one of the best shows alongside that 70s show and everybody hates Chris, I give Futurama 5 stars out of 5.

This place is insanely busy, I recommend going at like 1am or something during the week there's almost nobody there after the trains stop running.
