As an American, this is my favorite Japanese comfort dish. It was cold eating this meal and it warmed our bellies up! The curry was light and accompanied the fried hearty meats so well. We ordered all the extras and it came to less than $15 USD per person. The curry also had some vegetables which were nice. The meal comes with a salad too, and it was very fresh and light. Customer service was also really nice, they were accommodating especially for foreigners. I’ll always come back here!

So far this is the best curry chain I've been to in Japan, with a lot of locations across the country. It's considerably better in quality and price compared to the London and Hong Kong versions. There are quite a few customisable options for people of all culinary persuasion. Service is quick, the food tasty and the atmosphere fine.

Japanese curry that is worth trying. It tastes very tasty and thick. CoCo Ichibanya has many branches in Japan. Recommended!!

If you’re a vegetarian and looking to try traditional Japanese curry, I’d recommend going to one of these CoCo Ichibanya franchises.

This one is walking distance from the Senso-ji temple. I loved my lunch, and especially appreciated all the ways you can customize it: vegetarian, pork, or beef base; all of the veggie and meat mix-ins can be changed; can adjust the white rice serving; and even spice level (I chose 5 because I love 🌶).

I’m so glad I chose this more casual option, as opposed to trying a more traditional restaurant—$10 USD total and I was able to order the curry based on my preferences! 🍛

It's CoCo Curry! I've had CoCo Curry in Taiwan, China, Vietnam and I finally got a chance to try it here in Tokyo, Japan. It's delicious as always.

The curry rice here is really nostalgic. the taste is very different from the branch in Indonesia.

I’ve always been a fan but the new soup curry things are phenomenal. Plus they have slight blend into Tandoori Chicken soup curry.

Amidst the symphony of clinking cutlery and hushed conversations, there sits a man, cradling a spoon poised before lips parting in anticipation. The aroma of CoCo Curry's signature dish swirls around him, a prelude to the coming delight. As the first spoonful of this nostalgic curry breaches the boundary of past and present, his face is a canvas of emotion: eyes widened in shock, the corners of his mouth twitching towards an awestruck smile. It's not just a taste but a time machine, each savory note a flashback to days savored and cherished. The curry, golden and rich, floods his senses, a warm wave of memories from a time when this flavor was a daily rite. It's a poignant reunion, a gastronomic epiphany, a silent exclamation of joy relived.

A fantastic curry spot in Tokyo that you won't want to miss. While this branch is found in many countries, some don't have a pork selection. Thus, we chose to give it a try here. The pork curry dish did not disappoint! Looking forward to be back again.

Coco Ichibanya has some of the best Japanese curry in Japan! You must try it on your trip. It’s cheap and delicious! My go too is the pork cutlet curry, since there are many options on the menu it can be overwhelming. If you haven’t tried Japanese curry then you are missing out! Coco curry house is a chain and has many locations across Tokyo! All the locations have a English menu and they offer water for free and have a bathroom. This location is small but has great service. Must try!

It's a CoCo Ichibanya, it's a chain, you know what you're getting. Don't take that as a bad comment.

"Oh but I came to Tokyo for real Japanese food, I don't want a chain". First of all, most chains can't touch this place. Second, a place full of Salarymen at lunchtime is good, they know what's up.

Get the Tonkatsu, treat yourself. It's roughly 1000 yen it's not that much.

So far one of the best curry I have tasted and to be honest this will knock you out. So be advice if you ever decide to go for one make sure you don't have much activity afterwards.

We have to walk 3kms just to burn half of what we ate. Will definitely going back.

This is a branch of the well-known Japanese curry brand. The multilingual menu is provided. You can choose how spicy and sweet for your dish. The taste is as good as standard of any branches. Staffs are very polite.

Amazing curry as always , every curry you eat can be customised to you taste, from how spicy, how much rice , which meat, if at all, also toppings.
Best part , it's very cheap, if you want something quick, tasty and very Japanese , try this curry, it's a must!!

Allergen friendly and delicious! We came to this place and I was worried. The menu is in semi-English and after translating their allergen page, found that the curry sauce has peanuts (there is a better allergen menu online). However, there is a free-from sauce on the menu which I ordered.

The food arrived; a bowl of rice, a bowl with the chicken, and two sachets of heated sauce which was fantastic because I knew that there was no risk of cross contamination. I was able to translate the sauce and found that is was free from almost everything, and it was delicious too!

Tasty japanese style curry with delicious toppings and customizable menu. You can choose the amount of rice, spiciness etc to your liking. Service was friendly too like most places in Japan. But this is a very small restaurant so maybe don't come during lunch and dinner time to avoid not getting seats.

One word - awesome!
Even though it is a chain store but the quality never disappoints.
Ordered the vegetable soup curry, is a seasonal winter menu. Do try it if you have the chance, is my favourite!

We had our first curry here and we were delighted. Simple but good and large portions.
