The initial registration process is abit of a hassle if you are a foreigner. After registration everything was pretty straight forward. I had 3 different staff members who came with me in each department (specialist, cashier and pharmacy) to translate for me and explained everything clearly. Under 30minutes wait time to see a specialist. Overall a good experience and helpful staff.

Very kind and friendly nurses and doctors. Dr Kento was bilingual, extremely friendly and clear in his communication while Dr Aki spoke perfect english.

All other nurses which there were too many to name were exceptional

As a tourist, I had a stomach issue and decided to come to this hospital. The majority of the staff is super friendly and patient, listened to me, and were able to communicate with translation technology. I was seen by a doctor, had a test, and even received medication. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything done before they closed at 5pm. Much appreciated.

I'm here as an inpatient. Everyone is pretty nice and they have pretty much everything you would need. Don't feel afraid to come here. My teacher also said he comes here regularly for checkups and that he likes it and it has a good reputation.

The Endocrinology department in this hospital is absolutely incredible. Specifically, Dr. Kodani is one of the most knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and supportive doctors from which I have ever had the pleasure of receiving care. Dr. Kodani is an expert endocrinologist who is fluent in Japanese and English, and she always goes out of her way to help me. As an international patient from the United States, I am so glad to be receiving care from Dr. Kodani. She carefully explains everything to me and has taught me so much valuable information that I had never learned before. I am so thankful to be in her care.

Excellent staff and care. Was here on holidays and had to be admitted to hospital. English translators on staff helped make the whole process easy, guiding me thorough tests and diagnosis with doctor and assisted with claiming on travel insurance. Nurses and doctors were lovely and most spoke a little English but always took the time to help me understand treatments etc.

I gave birth twenty days ago, very good medical staff. They took good care of me and the nurses also work hard. I was scared because I'm a foreigner and I don't speak Japanese, but they used translation. It was hard for them. Thanks for your hard work

We chose this hospital for availability of yellow fever vaccination, it took us a while filling the application forms,as the hospital makes an accurate history of previously shot vaccinations for each patient. The doctor at travel center was very kind and polite, he spoke very good English.

In 1896, a large portion of land was purchased by the City of Newark, New Jersey; the land was bought to build a new hospital to relieve pressure in the overcrowded Newark Hospital. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, many buildings were built that housed patients and other facilities, such as a power house, laundromat, and theater. According to Weird New Jersey, in the winter of 1917, the hospital suffered a catastrophe with the failure of the hospital's boilers and 24 patients freezing to death in their beds. In the mid-1920s, the tri-state mental correction board bought the land and converted Overbrook into a mental institution. The Overbrook asylum ran on, adding several add-ons and new wards until its abrupt close in the winter of 2007

Excellent research hospital.
English speaking staff(and Korean, Spanish, Chinese and Portuguese) as well as medically trained interpreters. Come early to avoid the queues.

The people working at the travel center where very kind and very understanding, and the doctors could speak English which was really helpful.

リウマチの疑いでクリニックから紹介されたが先生は親身だし、病院も綺麗、採血やレントゲンなどもスムーズ。そして何より薬の選択、治療など思い返すとベストだった。正直優秀な先生がおおいとおもう。3年間通院していたが担当医の転勤を機に自宅のそばの病院を紹介してもらった。

医師、看護師共に、活気に溢れた若々しさに満ちた病院。7階に入院したが、スタッフの忙しいこと、でもこれが医療の仕事なんだなと自認した次第。ベテランの医師は、手術その他の対応に当たっていて、余り長々と話しは出来ないが、頼りになる若先生とは、交流を持つ時間あり。ひと昔前の医師を憂慮せずに、若い医師、看護師とは、楽しい会話が営める。仕事というのは甘いものではないと実感させられる。歳のせいか、ヤングアンドフレッシュがいいねと思う次第。さて、食事ですが、多いと言うと、病院提出メニューの中からリクエストが出来る。ご飯とおかず、或いは一食たっぷり(私はそう感じた。)の中から自由に選べる。最初は水中毒その他で、緊急入院した為、お粥と柔らかなお惣菜だったが、さすが若先生。可能と見ると、直ぐに常食にしてくれた。治療らしい治療は、ナトリウム点滴などで済んだが、病院という場所上、色々な人間模様あり。元気な声を出すなあと感じたご仁が、以外や以外寝たきりだったりとか、生きる意義も大いに考えるチャンスに恵まれる。優しいスタッフばかりなので、安心して入院生活を送ることができる。ナースコールはことあるごとには失礼。ちゃんとあちらから管理しているので、安心。ただ、下のことは遠慮なく。スタッフの患者の贔屓や苛めは100％ない。楽しい入院生活が安心して送れる病院だ。
