Yamaya Shinjuku

Decent selection of whiskeys given how hard it is to find aged Japanese whiskey at the moment. Note there are two sections of Japanese whiskey, the expensive and sought after ones are adjacent to the front door and the cheaper ones are near the imported whiskey (picture of both sections below). We we lucky enough to pick up some Hibiki 17 year old whiskey here. Good selection of beers, wine and champagne too. They also sell food/snacks.

We came before leaving Japan to get some Japanese liquor. The workers were very friendly and helpful. We let them know we were doing tax free, they put padding and bubble wrap on each bottle and got them ready for travel. Good selection of Japanese items which we were looking for. Highly recommend!

Really good liquor prices and a totally respectable selection. ALSO has a couple aisles of import food items from around the world. Cheapest place to buy canned beans in Tokyo. Free home delivery if you buy enough.

I just love yamaya. They have a great selection of imported beer at competitive prices. You can also find some great olives there. I recommend the green olives stuffed with jalapenos. Of course, they have a terrific selection of wine and spirits too.

This location is fully stocked, if you want it - Yamaya has it! Treat yourself to a new bottle of your favorite spirit!

Yamaya have an excellent and wide selection of wines and spirits. From reasonable daily table wine right up to some expensive fine wines. They also have a nice selection of imported foods.

Best liquor store in the area!

They have more selections and better prices than other ones I looked at in Shinjuku. Lots of japanese whiskies you can't find anywhere else.

A great selection of spirits, which are far cheaper than UK. A wine selection is descent but don't compared with your favourate wine shop in UK.

Great place not only for finding alcocol from abroad. They sell non alcoholic beverages, spices, cheese and canned food from around the world for resonable prices.

Staff was very helpful and efficient with filling paperwork for duty free, wrapped everything extremely carefully. I did not have any doubts the bottles would survive the flight.

Excellent selection of liquor, wine, and beer. Some staff speak good English. They also sell some snack and food items. A great place overall.

Lots of choices for wine and alcohol

So much booze! I haven't seen such a wide variety of alcohol anywhere else since I've been here. Great prices, too.
