Starbucks Coffee - Kawagoe Kanetsuki-dori Street

Purposely when to experience the unique architecture blend of heritage and modern architecture. Reached late around an hour before closure at 8pm.

However was delighted with superb customer service from the barista named Koya San, as he offered to tour around the café as he's free to do so.

Best place to chill when you're in Kawagoe. It has a relaxing vibe, not that crowded, and even has a garden where you can just sit back and enjoy your coffee. Matcha here tastes different, the best Starbucks matcha in my opinion. The staff were also very friendly.

The most unique Starbucks I have ever been to. It's like drinking coffee in one of those tea houses back in Edo Era(not sure if I get the timeline right)

We ordered ice cafe lattes and boo (Halloween special) and sat behind in the open area where there was a picturesque garden. Slowly sipping and enjoying the good coffee.

Loved the ambience but just that it can be quite crowded at times.

Best starbuck i ever had in my japan trip. The vibes are very similar to kyoto starbuck as well. The best spot is the seat outdoor, the scenery was amazing.

The stylish Kawagoe branch of Starbucks, with elements of Japanese traditional architecture and modern Starbucks design. Hugely popular with tourists on the weekends and holidays. Pleasant during the week.

This Starbucks might as well be one of the prettiest cafes of the chain. The design is modern and warm, with lots of wood and light inside.

The outside has been adapted to the local traditional architecture so it doesn’t stand out. Even the logo has been desaturated to fit the overall theme.

Given the aesthetics the cafe can be quite busy. There is some additional outdoor seating outside the cafe if you walk all the way through it

Beautiful Starbucks in a lovingly restored historical building. Serene with indoor and outdoor seating. A lovely little garden in the back with outdoor seating. Definitely a must when visiting Kawagoe.

Absolutely loved this Starbucks location. Centrally located in the Kawagoe main old street near the old-city tower. The interior is spacious and beautifully designed and there’s a traditional Japanese garden outside with outdoor seating. Cold brew coffee was delicious, too! Highly recommended.

The menu is the same as another Starbucks, but I gave 99 points for its atmosphere. There is a Japanese garden with outdoor seats that you can enjoy your drink with the green space. Unfortunately, I went there in a sunny weekend, so I couldn’t sit outside and little bit crowed. Moreover, The entrance is so traditional like Edo era that u can take a nice pic with Kawagoe sightseeing spot.

By far the best Starbucks I’ve been to in my life. The drinks and food are the same, but the ambiance is immaculate. Architecture and style is modern meets Edo period. I love the high ceilings and outdoor seating!

Staff are very friendly as well.

This "little edo" Starbucks blends with surrounding old-fashioned architecture, something more extraordinary than other places , good ambience and there's outdoor seating behind with small Japanese Garden.

Awesome! This Starbucks completely combines with Japanese garden. Travelers could enjoy their own beverages with the authentic in the store. Highly recommended!

The storefront has Edo style which is cool but inside is modern Japanese style which is even cooler. tried their sakura special which was sakura Frappuccino. love the jelly and crunchy cookies texture mixed with the drinks. very beautiful japanese garden at the back as well

Beautiful cafe! Nice location, old style, with a nice little garden. You can choose to enter the little garden and take a rest.

Wonderful atmosphere. Love the building structure of the store, the ceiling is high, which makes the room spacious. Outdoor seats facing garden available as well, which could be a good choice on sunny warm days.

Very very very busy and crowded but this old Japan Starbucks situated in an authentic Japanese building on a Little Edo street in Kawagoe is absolutely worth the visit
