Perfect neighbourhood park, small but lively. There are a few vending machines and a small shop selling ice cream. Many children and dogs around on a weekday. (There’s also a popular apple pie store nearby)

I was so surprised when I found that place on google maps and then I talked with myself, you must go there and finally, I have done there.
This small but paradise park is perfect for romantic dates, family time, sunset, sunrise, or whatever you want to do there because at Setagaya park you are going to feel a lot of the best sensations in your brain and body if you love nature and places like that.
I recommend you to go there.

Local park with a pool(paid), jogging course, fountain, and old trees. In summer, you can enjoy local Matsuri(三宿夏祭り, around at the end of August)

Everyday I went there it’s a beautiful park with a fountain, pool, minature train to ride and play areas for children. It's kept clean by a team of local volunteers and is extremely safe for families. I went in November when the weather was great then the park was beautiful.

A beautiful park with a fountain, pool, minature train to ride and play areas for children. It's kept clean by a team of local volunteers and is extremely safe for families. We went in October when the weather wasn't great but even then the park was beautiful. I'd recommend trying to go in summer with children so that they can play in the pool.

This is an awesome park with many activities for kids. The playground has a slide, climbing bars, swings, and a water pump. There's a miniature SL (steam locomotive) for kids to ride. There's a "traffic park" where kids can drive pedal-powered cars around a closed track with traffic lights and crosswalks.

On some days they have a large flea market with great deals.

Large spacious park. There are two playgrounds at each ends of park. A wonderful rustic campers/do it yourself area. You can enjoy making camp fires, hammering, climbing, digging, anything your adventurere can imagine. Fun family friendly train kids and parents can enjoy. Beautiful fountain ⛲ in center for rest and picnic. You can check out bicycling carts for kids to run a small track. A beautiful steam engine train 🚂 kids can explore. Burgers, beers, coffee, and ice cream can be found in different areas around the grounds. A bit of a hike to combini since park is so big but one small concession stand near center fountain.

Come on a sunny day and enjoy the wide open picnicking area around the fountain, ride the miniature train or just stroll through the green trees. A great park for relaxation or adventure with a wonderful, dirty, climbing, swinging, digging play area for the most energetic kids and a pedal car track for the younglings.

Nice and fairly large park with a baseball ground, small water park (summer only), miniature steam locomotive and a full size one as well.. There's a fountain and lots of areas to sit down and enjoy the sunshine.

Nice park to have a walk in Setagaya. If you have children you can enjoy the little train, and the 3 times I went there was a forest camp where you can roast your mochi on a wood stick

This park seems wild compared to other parks in Tokyo, they have skate board ramps, basketball hoops, tennis, pool, baseball, giant fountain and old people playing games during the week. Certain times people are lighting fires and fireworks. It’s like the Osaka of Tokyo parks.

A true gem for the whole world to treasure. Beyond the nice features like a little train, beautiful fountain in the middle and a nice playground, this park, in the middle of Tokyo, let's you build fires, saw wood, clime up makeshift treeforts. All without a waver to sign and operating under the simple tenant that you are responsible for your own fun and safety. A blast from the past.

Arguably the best park in Tokyo for families. There's a mini train for kids to ride, a mini makeshift town for kids to build stuff and make campfires, a skatepark, a fountain plaza, and a nice hill topped with a garden.

Small but very good park, equipment for kids that can be used for pullups, bars for stretching, small electric train that can be ridden. Good place for picnic. Pretty cool place.

Quite a big park, located in a busy area. It gives a lot of play opportunities to kids of all age range. Love the little train ride too!
