Well, nice tiny bar underground. Not much room here, but the atmosphere and vibe were warm. Not very comfortable but so close to others and with the great conversations it was nice. Drinks were made really good. Not a large selection of drinks but they do them right. Service was good though so busy and packed. Enjoy this artistic vibe with a friend!!

A one-of-a-kind historic bar in the middle of Ginza, and an especially cool experience for any fans of classic Japanese literature, the "Bungo Stray Dogs" series, or both! The Bar has 3 photographed portraits of authors Dazai Osamu, Sakunosuke Oda, and Sakaguchi Ango at the rear side as a testament to when they used to visit as a trio in the Shōwa period. The Bar will give matchboxes with the logo upon request, along with brochures available in English detailing its history. Fans of "Bungo Stray Dogs" can request to view the Bar's copies of the manga signed by Kafka Asagiri and others who work on the series. The staff brought a standee of the three characters to take photos with as well! The staff were very kind gave great recommendations for which drinks to try - the mocktails were fantastic as well. An English menu is available. Overall it was an incredible experience and I can't recommend it more!!

Just like other anime fans, I’m here bc of bungo stray dogs, and everything meet my expectation. The atmosphere is perfect feels like back to dazai’s age. And the drinks taste very good. Especially the one that’s Ango’s fav. Two people cost around 5000 yen.

It’s a new experience for me visiting silent bar but you’ll enjoy it, time flies by talking to each other deeply and specially talking about writers / anime. It’s a legendary bar you must visit! It opened since 1928, such a great experience. (The prices are really make sense too)

😭brought my odskman there. The drink is really good i tried golden fizz and tequila sunrise. I think the golden fizz one really worth a try!!!!!

Bar Lupin was great! Two of us went during our trip to Japan after hearing about this place at home. Stories did not disappoint! Firstly it's a 90 year old bar with extensive history of literary, medical and artistic patrons. The staff are amazing making a great effort to engage with us despite the language barrier. The atmosphere is warm with quiet chatter and laughter. They do have an English menu, the are cash only and as at writting this an ¥800 cover charge. They allow smoking (but their air extractors kept the air fresh all night) and drinks run from ¥800 to ¥1500. I would suggest this bar as a place to visit, highly recommend it and will return again if I'm back in Tokyo.

Lovely service, great sake and beers and delicious food. They also have some vegetarian snacks available!

I can't understand the negative reviews of this bar. Great atmosphere. It's quiet (no music), so you can talk to your friends. We liked their cocktails and the bar has a great history.

This place looks so beautiful. The first time I saw this place was in Bungou Stray Dogs and I liked it so much, I wish I could go there someday. +dazai-san was so gorgeous When he took pictures with Odasako and Ango in that place, 🤭 for the Otaku fans this is the best place I'm sure 👍💯

My new favorite place in Ginza! Back alley, no blingbling, great staff, good drinks, LONG history. This bar has limited space. Probably you will wait for a while. Still worth. EDIT: Came for the (recommendet) Moscow Mule. Did not regret!
