Went in with a free entrance for their 60th anniversary. These photos were taken at night and I would post the photos for daytime in the photo updates section. The night time is the better time to come because the lights are so beautiful. Didn’t get to try any rides but the park is big enough to just explore especially if you will also visit Hana Biyori.

Skip disneyland, this is the place to be. Cheaper (by a lot), more attractions, beautiful to look at, whole place lights up at night. There is something for everyone, pay for rides separately or get an unlimited rides pass. Friday afternoon (3pm-8pm), first week of April, wait times were averaging between 15-60mins for everything popular (roller-coaster and thrill rides)

We were from Disney Sea the day before so honestly we went with low expectations, but we were so wrong! The lights were truly beautiful and magical beyond words. We especially loveddd the rollercoaster and thought it was the best we've ever been on. Best experience 10/10 would go again 😍✨

A really beautiful theme park at night with the illumination event going on for the holidays. There are rides for all ages. You can either buy tickets to walk around or buy it with a ride pass. The park does close pretty early at 8:30p

Between October and March, you must visit this location!
The fountain display is especially spectacular since they have the most magnificent illuminations ever!
I intend to return next year!

Better to come here when they have the Jewel illuminations in the winter. I recommend buying tickets online for a cheaper price. You ride the gondola from Keio Yomiuriland station. Be careful not to mistake it for Yomiuriland mae station which is on the opposite side of the park. It is better to get the one day pass and come earlier than 3pm to be able to go on all the rides and attractions because from 3pm, the crowd will flood in to see the illuminations that start at around 4pm and lines will take up to an hour or more just to get on a ride. Attractions were better and bigger than I expected and really fun with friends.

A fun experience for the whole family. Definitely check out the lights at night.

You can buy tickets online for 400 yen cheaper than at the front area.

It was a day full of fun. It is recommended to come to the park early to maximize the ride-all-you-can pass. Because you can expect long lines on every rides, especially the most exciting ones. We enjoyed the go kart the most. Different foods are also vailable inside the park.

They hold an illumination event every year that is really pretty. If you avoid going very near xmas, it's not crowded.
Most attractions are for kids, but they have a big rollercoaster and bangee jump.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this theme park but was pleasantly surprised. We went in at 3pm on a "after pass" so reduced price entry but were able to have a fun afternoon and evening in both the theme park and then at the Wai waterpark on the same site. The theme park wasn't busy at all - we went during a weekday - and only queued for about 15 minutes for the most popular rides. Some rides had no queue. The waterpark was busier but not absolutely rammed so there was space to set up a camp and enjoy the pools and waterslides. Thoroughly recommend!

Yomiuri land is by far the most underrated theme park in japan. It honestly felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. The waiting times for each ride were extremely low. In some cases, the kids just ran back to the entrance line to ride the same ride twice in a span of 3 minutes. The merch and food were reasonably priced. I had loved their soft serve and popcorn. The gondola to the park only took 5 minutes, and I would highly recommend them. A round trip cost 500 yen, but the service closes at 5:15pm, so plan accordingly. My favourite ride was the Nissan UFO noodle ride. I would also like to point out that I'm on the larger size 6 feet 135kgs with a waist measurement of 46 inches. I fit comfortably on 90% of the rides as well as the children train. Overall, I loved my experience here and would recommend a lot more foreign tourists to head to Yomiuri land. I highly recommend using the klook Pass. You will get more bang for your buck.

Its most attractive and popular feature isn’t all the roller coasters. It’s the light-up from late fall to winter. Popular among families, friends and couples. Almost the entire amusement park is decorated with beautiful lights. There are lots of food stands as well. If you are only interested in enjoying the light, they got the entrance ticket and you can go there cheaper. I would recommend to go there on a weekday which I did. There are still people but it’s not so crowded.

Best destination in our Tokyo itinerary so far. Not too crowded on new years day. And good mix of rides for various age groups in our family. Light display at night plus stage performances throughout the day were stunning and very entertaining. Quite a range of food choices that were relatively reasonably priced for both eat in and takeaway, Rubbish bins were aplenty too.

The illumination event that happens every end of the year is really good and there are many food inside that you can choose from. The rides were also very comfortable yet still, very exciting! The night prices are a lot cheaper despite being prettier than the morning because of the lights. Love it here and will definitely come back even if I'll only stroll.

We had a good time at this place. We went during weekdays and there's a lot less queues for the rides. The downside of coming on a weekday is that they close early (ie couldn't enjoy the night time illumination that were going on when we were there). But we still had fun :)

Yes it's not like Disney where there's lots of music, pretty decorations, fireworks etc . But if you want just a relaxing day at an amusement park, don't want to spend a fortune on entry fee, then this is the place for you.
I think next time I'll come on days when they close late so that I can ride more stuff and enjoy the night lights.

Take the gondola to get there since it's uphill and on the way back, you can take the gondola again or just have a nice stroll back. There's a sign of where the path is from the entrance (the sign is near the carpark)

The illumination here was beautiful.
You can enjoy it alone, with your family, with your friends, or with your lover!
