Best amenities of the 7. Multiple saunas and steam rooms. 2 baths, indoor and outdoor. Men’s Japanese outdoor bath has a waterfall feature for a pleasant massage. Large and spacious. Will be back tomorrow for a soak before the train.

Might be the biggest of the 7. The bath area is two floors, with the outdoor bath and a couple of saunas on the rooftop. Decorations feel kind of nostalgic somehow, with a lot of small tiles and something of a Roman theme.

A big Onsen! 3 baths indoors plus an outdoor bath, and two saunas. Lots of space here, all clean. Decor is lovely too. The two bubble baths are a lovely temperatures, the other two are very hot! But very relaxing. The relaxing area outside the baths is nice and calm too, nice coffee milk!

This hot spring house provides good service and the inside is clean.
Although some coner seem old with stains.
However, it is understandable due to old age of this onsen house.
The remarkable feature is outdoor Onsen on top floor, you can enjoy great view there.
Particularly in period of November to December, you can see full of maples 🍁 on the mountain.

This is by far the largest onsen I visited in the town. There are three floors here, with the second floor being the changing room and baths (a standout feature of this onsen is that there is a cold pool). The third floor has an outdoor pool area and a steam room. Also, on both floors there are dry saunas of 60-75 degrees and 80 to 90 degrees. I enjoyed this onsen the most in the town due to the numerous facilities. Once done with your soaks, you can head to the first floor to rest in the very large sitting area.

The best bath/onsen in the area! Right next to the train station and shops restaurants. Closes a little earlier than the other onsens (9pm, last entry 830p).
The baths have multiple areas inside; a main bath with sauna’s and steam rooms. The best part is the rooftop bath which is open air and has epic Mountain Views! Highly recommended.

IMO the best of the 7 onsens.
Has the most bathing areas, one dry sauna on the 2nd floor, a dry and steam sauna on the 3rd floor. 3rd floor also has an outdoor bath with a view of the mountains and the river.
I personally enjoyed standing full monty at the 3rd floor bath with a cool breeze blowing by nether region while gazing at the mountains and the river, listening to the quintessential Japanese sound of the local trains coming in and out of the nearby train station.

May be the largest of the public onsens in Kinosaki Onsen. The second floor has 3 indoor baths and the third floor has an outdoor bath and steam room. If you could only go to one onsen in town, this is probably the best choice in my opinion.

Of all the onsens this offered the most exploration and variety in pools and saunas. My fav was the waterfall upstairs to gaze upon in an open air rooftop, with views of the country side.

This was my favourite onsen that I visited here due to the different steam rooms and saunas.

Hands down the BEST Onsen in Kinosaki! Multiple bathing pools including an indoor and out door ice bath 🥶 a tepid bath if u like it mild, an indoor and outdoor HOT bath with waterfalls - yes cascading HOT water onto your back - say AHhhhhhhh - be careful it is HOT. Two dry sauna - Hot and Hotter and an actual steam room complete with smooth center rock for sitting on. Well with the ¥800. Only down side is they open at 1 pm - 9 pm every day and are closed on Mondays so plan accordingly. Of course u can get the day pass for ¥1300 and do multiple Onsen but make sure to work this one in!

For me it's the best bath available in Kinosaki. Maybe not the most traditional one, but it's full of services (cold water pools, saunas, outside baths), and it's really big, so you can enjoy your stay even at peak hours.

One of the new onsen in town. Easily the biggest kid on the block. The rest area is huge as well. It has all the new stuff like Sauna room, Steam room, Huge pool indoors and ourdoors. Since its right beside the train station, jump at the chance to do a quick one before leaving.

The best onsen out of all 7. You can bathe outdoor with the most picturesque views of the mountains. This is the only onsen that had a steam room, sauna AND a cold plunge.

Easily the best of the public onsens! Outdoor pool is on the roof, there are 3 saunas and a lot of space. Really enjoyed it!

The best bath in Kinosaki easily. I loved the outdoor baths and there were so many baths and saunas to spend my time in.
