Aeon Mall Kyoto Katsuragawa

Amazing information center, communication in English is a bit tricky but the free map of the mall they gave me did it😍

This mall is amazing. We were travelling with our 11 month old and had the usual trouble with small crowded spaces in Japan. Coming here was like a breathe of fresh air. The size is comparable, even bigger than western malls. Lots of public couches to relax. Restaurants are large and you won't have a problem getting a seat.

There are two food courts and also a restaurant area. You can spend days here and not finish everything on offer.

If you arrive by public transport, go to the car park entrance near Muji and Joshin. You can get themed prams (Winnie the Pooh, hello kitty, pikachu etc) for kids to sit in.

A large AEON mall, with a great department store and bakery. Toilets were clean and decent.

Haven't had this much fun since I was 10. Went to see the new star wars with my friends but first we had slurpy udon then played Mario kart then had Baskin Robbins and had a double ice cream and then watched Starwars. I felt like I was in stranger things. So much fun really took me back to a long forgotten childhood. Was nice... Thanks for the memories aeon mall katsuragawa

The kids play area is great fun for little ones (aged 1~5) and there is plenty to see and lots of places to eat. It’s all inside which means it’s good for rainy days. There are some carts (to put your shopping in) with characters on them if your small child likes it. Things like Mickey, Anpanman, Pooh etc. Our daughter loves them and it makes her look forward to coming here!

Large mall with good restaurants and a good cinema. It has pretty much anything one would wish to find at a mall.

Good place for spending time with family

I have been to this place many times and it's just a great supermarket to fulfill almost all your needs. There are almost all kinds of shops here, starting from all kinds restaurants to grocery shops, speciality shops for wines, clothings, cosmetics and many other stuffs. They have a great food court, where you get several kinds of foods. For sure, it's not a tourist place, but for locals it has become ad essential part of life.

Good place for shopping but very crowded during weekends. It took me an hour to exit from parking lot.

Conveniently connected to the JR Katsuragawa station. Food court and restaurant area offer many options for dining. Large mall, lots of stores.

Aeon had a new JR train station built on the Kyoto to Osaka line for this very large mall with dozens of tennent shops and resteraunts. Easy to spend a whole day here.

Awesome hall, lots of useful and fancy stores. A great assortment of meals in the food court and by individual restaurants.

Really big and modern. Great if you want to shop!

Good for family with kids. Got kiddy pram on loan for shoppers. Accessible via hankyu and jr. lotsa restaurants and kids stores too

Big and quite mall. Discount price for all food at night in the supermarket. I bought takoyaki in this mall, and taste is very good

Probably the biggest and best aeon mall in Kyoto. Great selection of shops. Clean with lots of seats
