Miharaya Ryokan

Gujo seems to be a place where people stop by briefly. Quite surprised pleasantly by the fact that we were the only one staying for our first night. All the ladies and the gentleman were very friendly and accommodating, even letting us choose which bedroom and onsen room (private use just for us couple). Not sure if you will have these perks if it’s peak season. Just be mindful that both onsen/shower room and toilet is on different locations. The bedroom will only have a sink. And it’s rather cold if you walk out to these facilities during winter.

The location is right in the middle of the town, Gujo Hachiman castle hike up starting point just 200-300m away in the front. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby too.

If you’re driving, there’s free parking slot on site (1-2), should have no issues during non-peak.

Overall, highly recommended. Gujo is a very chill town, most people would just pass by, but we stayed for 2 nights just to take our time to stroll and feel the vibe of the town. We’re from a big city, and we absolutely love the change of pace. But if you like to shop a lot and visit a lot of attractions, this is not the place for you.

The breakfast is excellent; easily the best breakfast in our trip to Japan.

Also a great way to have an Onsen experience.

Nice ryokan with an incredible view on the river and mountains. Cozy room, soft futons, good breakfast. I I missed the fact that ryokan has a shared bathroom, not really a fan of it. But I felt cold after a night walk, so I decided to go to the bathroom. It was small (for 2 people max), but I enjoyed the bath (honestly, it looked more like a big jacuzzi).

A little bit expensive but this is the best spot ryokan in town, There are free parking for guest too! The river view is awesome.

My two friends and I stayed here for one night and absolutely enjoyed it. Though we didn't use the public bath (as we personally had no time to), we very much enjoyed our room. It's a very traditional place, so you get futons instead of mattresses, which we didn't mind. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room, and we even kept the door to our room open during the night, as we visited in mid November and it was very cold outside, which helped us sleep better. The sounds of the water also helped us relax. The staff that we spoke with didn't speak the greatest English, but that wasn't really an issue for us. If you get the chance to, do stay here, as you won't regret it.

Excellent location, right next to the river (my room looked out to the river, I could watch people fishing) and near many places to eat. Nice prices, comfy room, clean bath. I will stay again, I loved it.

This place was fantastic! Beautiful Japanese facilities, including a spa. Exceptional breakfast. And they went above and beyond to help us out in getting to our next destination. Would whole heart-idly recommend it to anyone.

Stayed for 2 nights. Staff was very kind and understadable. Tourist friendly. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast and dinner were super delicious, worth for the price. Plus room came with fantastic view.

仕事で宿泊しましたが、浴場のお湯が良かったです。久しぶりに旅館に宿泊しましたが、趣があって良い旅館だと思います。2泊しましたが、朝食も大変良かったです。道路からは高い建物と分かりませんが川に沿っていて4-5階建ての様です。

郡上踊りの会場のすぐそばです。当日は雨でしたが、23時ごろ旅館に帰ると玄関にタオルが積み上げてあり、自由に使えたので雨で汚れた脚を拭いたりしてとても助かりました。お風呂の脱衣場にもタオルが備えられていたので、その心遣いにが嬉しかったです。お風呂のアニメティにＤＨＣが使われており、髪の状態が家にいる時より良かったから驚きました。朝ごはんも満足できるものでした。お味噌汁のお味噌はどこのですかと尋ねたら、自家製との事。美味しかったです。
3階に泊ったので階段が大変でしたがそれ以外は掃除も行き届いており、十分満足です。

部屋から吉田川を見下ろせ、昭和レトロな感じも含め郡上八幡を満喫できるお宿。
朝食も盛りだくさんで、お風呂やトイレも清潔でコロナ対策がされ安心して泊まれる宿です。

朝食付きプラン1泊で利用。昭和レトロというかそれなりに年期の入った建物・客室ですが、全体に清潔で、要所要所の設備は新しく、朝食も期待どおりのバランス（味と量）で、とても快適に過ごすことができました。
部屋には、川縁にせり出すような、いささか頼りない手すりのベランダがあって、開放感マックスで吉田川と古き街並みの風情に身を投じることが出来ます。
まるで吉田川の上空に浮かんでいるような、素晴らしい（高所恐怖症の方には恐ろしい）眺望の部屋で飲んだ風呂上がりのビール（正確には発泡酒）が最高！
風呂とトイレは共同ですが、どちらも新しく機能的。
特筆すべきはグッドデザインマークが付いていても不思議のない近代的な浴室ですね。昭和レトロな空間にあって、そこだけ平成を通り越し一気に令和の世界で、宿の規模を考えれば充分以上の広さもあり、ちょっとリッチな気分で湯を堪能することができました。
ロケーションは郡上八幡にあって最高レベルではないでしょうか。楽々歩いて回れるエリアに見どころ満載です。
ただし、楽々歩いて回れる範囲にコンビニあるいはそれに類する店がありません。一方、部屋備え付けの冷蔵庫はあまりに小さく、かつ冷却能力も低いため、冷蔵庫としても物入れとしてもほぼほぼ使えない上、飲料の自販がそもそもありません。
部屋で冷たい飲料をご所望の方には、ぜひクーラーボックスを持参を推奨いたします。

子どもたちのジャンプで有名な新橋近くの昔ながらの和風の旅館。吉田川沿いで客室から川の流れが見えます。町内の観光スポットまでも近くて便利です。

川のすぐ横にあり、部屋からの眺めが最高！
大きくて清潔なお風呂も気持ちいい。

川のそばで見晴らしが素晴らしいです。
ご飯も美味しいです。
